"MUSC and Dr. Javad deny students due process of law when dismissing them. If a student report cheating or teachers using a different grading scheme for privileged white students who come from wealthy parents or with ties to the school, they will form a committee amongst faculty and vote that student out for having characteristics which seem inappropriate. I found out. At that time, the school had a letter grading and class ranking system so I wanted a leveled playing field. Because, I was not from wealth, a pretty woman, or in the African American community, I was not afforded to have the actual tests for the upcoming exams or the very generous grading curves used for those students. In fact, professors would take students who made Fs and give them better grades than mine. What is up with this :)? I was married, had a son, and went home and studied every night, being a role model student! The faculty, once a student talks in private to the school officials about all of the unfairness, will dismiss the student by creating some of those characteristics by giving the student Fs in all of his subjective grading classes as they did to me. Yet, even with those Fs I finished with a B average. Please note. No one else will receive a F. The students from wealth and pretty women will make Fs but will be given great passing grades. The school brags this is the way they dismiss all of their students, following their standard protocol. They also brag they do not afford a student his constitutional rights of due process of law. It is time for MUSC to follow our nation's laws. There will be many more postings. Please spread the news. They admit the student did not get dismissed for academics but for what they consider characteristics which seem inappropriate.
