Kings Courtyard Inn

"Spectacular experience! We looked for an historic place...within walking distance of The Battery, restaurants, close to incredibly restored architecture, City Market, the old church cemeteries...Kings Courtyard Inn fully filled those "wants". What we didn't realize were the other "icing on the cake wants" that the Inn provided. A spotless, beautifully sun-lit room! A continental breakfast served by friendly, attentive people. Was it only a "continental" breakfast? Yes. But it was the attention to detail...the attention to "us"...that took our stay to an entirely different level. The hidden courtyards offering relaxation. The fountains. The wine and nibbles from 5 to 6...SERVED by friendly staff. The glass of Sherry before bed. So many little "making you feel special" moments. Absolutely spectacular 4-day adventure."

"Stayed in Charleston for two days, this was a great location! Near the downtown area, made it accessible to restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was so simple, behind the Inn and reasonable pricing. Servicing was really nice too. Bathroom bit tiny, but it does not take away from experience. I would definitely stay there again if going back to Charleston and recommend it to those looking!"

"My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Charleston and stayed, the staff was so awesome! Awesome location to all especially great restaurants and sites. Parked here and had walking access to everything! Lastly loved the evening wine and cheese hour! We will be back!!!"

"Great location!! You can walk to everywhere! The bed wasn’t very comfortable, the mattress was obviously very old, but the fireplace in the room was great! Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Everything was very clean. The concierge was basically whoever was sitting at the desk googling what you were asking, but the staff was very friendly"

"Cute old hotel. Definitely needs some updates, like new paint and some remodels done in the room, but the room had a fireplace which was nice. Breakfast was free, but minimal. Free wine and sherry hours were a great add-on. Very friendly staff. Location is right on King and perfect to walk around. Would stay again."
