Everything from made to order breakfast, cocktails in the evening, beautiful water views, pool, clean and comfortable rooms… the list goes on. Will be our go to place from now on while staying in the Charleston area."

"An amazing weekend at Waterway B&B! Zack and Rob are hands down the best hosts ever! I found this jewel while searching for a place to stay in Charleston and WOW what an amazing find! Zack prepared a fresh breakfast of waffles, eggs, homemade sausage and fruit (or whatever your tongue desires) and Rob brewed the best cup of Java ever, literally! The house and grounds are prestine with an awesome view of the Stono! Love, love, love! Will return for sure to enjoy this slice of heaven on earth ❤️. Oh, did I mention they meet you at the door with wine, beer, or your favorite drink?!"

"We spent 3 nights at Waterway and our experience could not have been better. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by Zach and Rob, and offered a cocktail, beer or wine. We gladly excepted! Both Zach and Rob, were a pleasure to talk to and extremely gracious hosts. The house is beautiful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very neat and clean. The view, whether, from our balcony, the pool, or the boat house, was spectacular and relaxing! In the morning, while Rob made coffee for us, Zach prepared an outstanding breakfast that was full of options. We stayed busy in Charleston and coming back to our water-front retreat at the end of each day was absolutely perfect!"

"We recently stayed with Rob and Zack at Waterway for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our visit lasted a full week so we had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time at their home. The home is located on a beautiful shoreline where two rivers meet on their way to the Atlantic. There was just enough boat traffic that it was a pleasant backdrop to the home. The grounds are also quite nice and create the feeling of seclusion, even though there are other homes nearby. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Zack and shown to our room. The view from the room was beautiful. We were fortunate to have great weather during our visit, so we could enjoy the view all day and into the evening. The home provided a very relaxing environment for us to enjoy our time, the delicious food served for breakfast or the drinks Rob and Zack offered us when we returned from our day out in Charleston. Zack made delicious breakfasts to order for us every morning while Rob prepared the coffee to get us going. They seemed to know just how much conversation was wanted by each of the guests that were at the home. We were able to see them in action with various couples coming and going during our stay and they really seemed to have a feel for the right way to take care of each person. We would have to say the best part of our stay at Waterway was getting to hang out with Rob and Zack, which is saying a lot as the whole stay was wonderful. They also offered excellent recommendations for dining in the area, which really enhanced our visit. We truly can say that we came as guests and left as friends. We cannot wait to stay again with Zack and Rob."

"Staying at Waterway Bed and Breakfast turned out to be the highlight of our first trip to Charleston and Savannah. When we arrived for our four day/ three night stay, we were warmly greeted by Rob and Zach, our phenomenal hosts. They immediately offered us a glass of wine, and we sat on their porch and got acquainted. They also provided us with wonderful restaurant recommendations. As others have mentioned, the view is absolutely spectacular from every room in the house as well as from the outdoor living area and dock. A nice addition is the lovely pool which was just completed two weeks ago. It was a great spot to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Our guest room was large and comfortable with a well-stocked refrigerator of bottled water and sodas and Adirondack chairs and a retractable awning on the outside balcony. Breakfast was special every morning as Zach would offer to make us anything we wanted, and Rob was a wonderful barista making his own special coffee. The house itself was tastefully decorated with Rob’s artwork and objects from Africa. After the hustle and bustle of Charleston, it was always so relaxing to come back to such a warm and peaceful environment. A Five star rating isn’t good enough for Waterway Bed and Breakfast- it’s a 10 in our book!"
