"Virginia College Columbia Campus is a very great educational institution. My grades have greatly improved over the course of my eight months I have attended here. I am currently enrolled to be become a medical office specialist. My experience at this college has been pleasing as a whole."
"When I attended winter term 2014 then graduated in 2016 from the Pharmacy Technician program the staff & teachers were plentiful, there to help & great to be around...my experience was a great one!! So I decided to return in 2017 winter term to pursue Medical Assistanting....BIG MISTAKE!! its short staff, boring & just horrible. There's all new staff exception of a few & whomever made that decision made a huge mistake. If you get Mrs.Hall and/or Mrs. Harden considered yourself lucky they are the best teachers there. Virginia College you are a disappointment this term."
"Every year this school gets WORSE and WORSE. They promise that they offer courses day and night but they really don't! With class starting on Wednesday September 27th and yet I still HAVE NO SCHEDULE! This should have been done 4 weeks prior to the new semester. The president left, the dean left and a few Program Directors as well so NOW no one knows anything or can tell you anything! I am supposed to only have 4 classes left and yet no one can give me any information as to what my schedule will be like, start externship or anything. Not only did I call, I also went there, waited DID NOT GET SEEN, left my contact information and guess what NO CALL! This has got to be the WORST school ever in Columbia. If you are thinking about enrolling here PLEASE think again. Oh yeah they are also changing credentials so now there's no telling on what will be for the students who just enrolled. AGAIN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!"
"Very poor staff. Dean's left professors have left and the school is going downhill. When I spoke up about problems I was facing at the school I was made the problem. Spoke to my chain of command at the school and nothing was resolved. Was made felt unwelcome very much. If you are considering this school at this campus I would strongly suggest otherwise. Frankly I feel like the staff doesn't care at all. You are just a number to VC. If you happen to get Mrs. Hall or Mrs. Harden you are in luck they are amazing. Beware of the Surgical Tech program. Not a good supportive program at all. And the reviews are so high for the school because the staffing asks to the students to go on the website and rate them high. Do not be fooled."
"My experience at Virginia College has been great. Yes, there were a few things that should've never happened, but when you talk to the right ppl in the right manner, things will get handled appropriately. I learned what I need to know to be effective on my extern and what I needed to know to pass my exam. I enjoyed all of my teachers and the rest of the staff. Career services is working hard along with myself to find me a job."
