"Rooms were clean. Great price. Was worried about being back from the street, but lighted very well. Will come back"
"The air conditioner from blew out moldy mildewy air the first room that I was in after 30 minutes in there I couldn't breathe they were nice enough to find me another room at least and that was only marginally better"
"Roaches everywhere on floor ,in bathroom, on the beds, Trash in cans, I was able to look at second room I looked at had bugs everywhere flying. If you are used to sleeping with bugs you will enjoy it."
"This has been the second time I’ve stayed here when I drive back down to FL from NY..first off the gentleman in the front desk is always very nice! It only costs about $57 for the night which is very reasonable. The place could use some upgrading but it’s not horrible..with that being said there are many roaches..in my room I saw non on the walls or bathroom BUT they are inside the night stand if you open it you’ll see a few dozen of them run off and hide. If I could give the owner some advice I would maybe shut the place down for a week and throw away the drawers/night stands and really exterminate the whole building. It may be a while for 100% of them to be gone but it’d be worth it just for the peace of mind of the guest. Overall not a bad place I prob would stay again. I always enjoy going to the gas station next to the Wendy’s cause they have a lot of cool SC souvenirs."
"Woman at the desk was wonderful. Hotel was disgusting. The balcony was in such disrepair that it actually moved when we stood on it. My husband said that he could feel the building move even once he went into the room. The heater did not work. The wallpaper was peeling and there appeared to be extensive water damage. Only one light in the room worked. We did not use the bathroom because it was so grimy. The place needs to be torn down. We only stayed because we were exhausted from driving all day."
