"HR/ payroll Don't anwser phones. I called 14 times this AM and hit every option. They are not employee friendly and since they aren't even on campus you can't meet in person with someone."
"I thought the staffs at MUSC human resource would try to assist their employees in any questions/difficulties we have. Apparently, this is not the case. Very difficult to reach them."
"I would give zero stars if I could. After a month of no phone calls back I finally went to their office and was able to sign up for health insurance. So I thought. They never actually enrolled me but have now taken money from my paycheck on 3 paychecks. It is now 2 months later from the date I went to the office and I still do not have active insurance. What is going on in their office!??"
"Does anyone even work here? If I could give zero stars, I would. When my career started at MUSC, no insurance was deducted from my paychecks. After multiple attempts at contacting them, someone finally reached out and I had to set up a payment plan to pay back hundreds. They messed up my tax deductions. I contacted and no response. Sent in a new tax form and after 10 months, it still wasn’t corrected. I have hardly had any federal taxes taken from my paycheck since the day I started. I left employment on 12/17/22 and have been calling & emailing trying to get a loss of coverage letter so I can be added to my husband’s insurance. Multiple voicemails and emails have gone unanswered, to this day, an entire month later. I still haven’t been removed from PEBA which I know I can’t use unless I want to cause a lot of confusion when they finally remove me and owe money for medical bills. Yet I still can’t be added to my husband’s insurance either. I honestly think I would remain unemployed before returning to MUSC just for the sake of dealing with HR."
"They never answer the phone or respond to emails. I had questions about maternity leave and tried contacting them right after I found out I was pregnant. I did not get a response until days before my baby was born...9 months later! Had issues again when trying to contact them about adding my newborn to my insurance. How is this acceptable?!?!"
