"Went to the hospital Saturday at 7:30 pm for a urine culture, cat scan, and mri. The cat scan was done that evening, the mri Sunday morning, and the urine culture Sunday afternoon. Seems the urine culture should have been done Saturday when the first urine sample was received. On Monday prior to being discharged, I was given an IV with an antibiotics. After 10 minutes I he IV alarm went off, after listening to the alarm for 5 minutes I rang the nurses station an informed them of the alarm going off on my IV, another 30 minutes later (35 minutes since alarm started) my nurse showed up. I asked why it took 35 minutes for someone to show up? She said she was unaware the alarm was going off. I told her the nurses station was called 30 minutes ago. She said they may of sent a message to her call box, but she had not checked it yet. I understand the nurse may have been busy but surly someone should have been available instead of just pushing a massage to a voicemail."
