"Waited 3 months to see Dr Santiago as a new patient which was fine. Arrived 30 minutes before appointment (came from Myrtle Beach). Checked in and waited. After an hour went to desk to to question why I was not seen yet. I could tell there was an issue by look on her face. She never clicked the button to tell nurse I was ready to be seen. Ended up coming home and having a video visit. (which was fine. Mistakes happen). Today I received a message from Dr Santiago's office I needed to call the office. I waited 40 minutes to talk to someone. Finally got a live person, explained I was returning a call. Took my info & proceeded to hang up on me! Tried to call back & was back in the que!!!!! I have a high A1C & need to get it down. Very frustrated"

"Very poor experience. My wife was a patient of dr Hanson. Because on chest issues the prior night she asked for an appointment that she got. When she showed up for the appointment she was told that they no longer accept BCBS insurance so they would not see her even if she offered to pay any out of pocket. Did not offer to see her a last time before trying to find another provider. She was her primary doctor. Why not inform us to find another doctor when they decided not to take the insurance any more, why not see her a last time when needed and tell us it would be the last one. NO money is more critical than patients health."
