I had my medical records transferred to her, and on my first visit she addressed every problem and what had been done or NOT done for 5 years. She readily refers to specialist at MUSC, if needed. However, she is very capable and thorough. I am finally confident that I am getting the best care possible"

"Several months ago, the office was overwhelmed with Covid associated problems. One nurse was handling all medication refills for all patients. Some Patients requests fell through the cracks during the holidays. There were front office staff filling in for those absent who were not familiar with the office flow. Self entitled patients came in expecting immediate service. I.e. On Jan 5th, an elderly man came up to the desk while I was there announcing that he was a Medical Doctor and had an appointment. He kept standing at the desk while the lone receptionist was answering the phone,getting Medicare papers signed and trying to keep her composure. He could’ve/should’ve sat down but he was a doctor and wanted it now. My doctor saw me on time and the care was EXCELLENT!(Dr Blank)"

"This office is an absolute joke. If I could give a negative review I would. My first appointment was somehow canceled (they said I canceled it which I didn’t) without any communication to me and I was told I’d either have to wait 2 hours or come back in a week because they had given my appointment away. The receptionist was extremely rude to me and another patient for absolutely no reason. Working in the healthcare field myself I understand how difficult it can be at times but there’s absolutely no reason to ever treat patients like that. Today I woke up with a horrible ear infection and decided to give this office one more try which was a mistake. After trying to call for 20 minutes and getting the after hours voicemail even though the office was open, I decided to just show up. I explained my problem to the receptionist and she turned me away because “ear infections are associated with covid” and “the doctor probably doesn’t have time in her schedule to see you.” I’ve never seen an office, especially a primary care office, turn so many patients in need away. I had to go to an urgent care instead and wait in line for 2 hours. Do not go to this office for any kind of emergency because they will most likely turn you away which defeats the purpose of a primary care office. Extremely disappointed doesn’t even come close to how I feel. You’re much better going somewhere else!"

"I can’t imagine why this place would get bad reviews. They are so friendly and courteous. I do not have insurance and the prices are great if you’re a cash patien. Dr. Heather Anthony has gone above and beyond for me many times and is very understanding and seems well versed in understanding the complications I deal with, from a very complicated medical history. She is kind and without judgment. I love that they do video visits also, and she has been great about seeing me last minute in the past, and answering any questions that are non-urgent via email. Front desk staff is very professional and all smiles."
