Bar-Mel Inn

"I can't begin to say how much we appreciate Raj and the Bar-Mel Inn at McCormick. This is an older hotel but the rooms are clean, our double beds were comfortable, and Raj was so caring and accommodating every time we have stayed there. We will continue to stay at the Bar-Mel Inn everytime we are in McCormick."

"Had to leave my home because of demolition noise and dust. Bar Mel Inn was the closest place to me. The room was spotlessly clean. They allow pets but there was no smell, either pet or a coverup product. The bed was actually a sleep number bed - just what I have at home. Covered with pure white sheets and comforter I was in heaven. Coffeepot, mini microwave and mini refrigerator suited what I needed. Desk with chair. The bath/shower was clean, but looked a bit old. Fresh towels were supplied. Locks on the door make me feel safe during my stay. Parking was available right outside the door. Be aware that there are no amenities such as shampoo, lotion, hair dryer etc. That would not stop me from staying there again. Management was accomadating. I had trouble with the TV and they came to the room immediately after my call. The traffic picked up at 5:30 and it was easy to hear. Bring earplugs or a small fan. The heating works well and is very quiet so that did not block the noise. Highly recommend the Bar-Mel Inn in McCormick, SC off of 378."

"The elderly couple at the front desk were delightful with really nice customer service and a fun sense of humor. The room was simple and so comfortable! Comfy bed. Super comfy comforter. We had a small fridge and microwave. The price is super reasonable. If in this area we will stay here again."

"I tell you the TRUTH!! The best place to stay is right here!! The room was SPOTLESS, carpet was CLEANED, no smudges on walls or door frames. WONDERFUL!!! The bed was so comfortable!!! Slept like a baby!!! Sheets clean and fresh! Wifi was good!! But the owner was amazing!!!! Took us to the room to show us around and made sure we seen no problems, turn the air on for us ahead of time. Showed us how to use the bed...you could lift the bed up and down to your comfy level. He was so sweet and caring !!!!! I can't say enough great things about this super nice motel!!! We will stay every time we go to that area. Which is often!!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!"

"First time staying here and would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. The owner was super nice and walked us to our room. He also inspected the room throughly when he took us to the room to make sure everything was up to standards. The room is super clean and the beds were FANTASTIC. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area."
