"Disappointed with my visits to Dr. Shayto. He started me on Testosterone Therapies, then stopped, without any explanation, other than saying I didn’t need it. As a result, my energy level crashed, and I continued to have problems. I think he’s scared because TRT is a “Controlled Substance”. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Racked up over $700 in medical bills (after insurance) with all the “consultations” and 4 sets of bloodwork which showed all the same. Went and got a second opinion from another provider and doctor, and I have been successful in treating my issue now for 4 months, where my bloodwork is carefully done within reason. Definitely will not be returning."
"I have never been more disappointed by a medical team. 2 months ahead of my deployment I attempted to refill and plan my medication needs. A month and half goes by of me constantly sending messages via MyChart and calling the call center. Just to get a call back a week before I leave (holiday week and also a week of me being out of my medication) saying they’ve not been reached out to by the pharmacy and that there’s nothing they can do with my insurance (even though I’m active duty and have tricare full coverage as well as this NOT being a new prescription) even tho someone from the call center said they could see where multiple attempts for contact had been made. I was also told by the nurse she would call the pharmacy right after our conversation and she didn’t even have the right pharmacy on file, so I proceeded to give her the number to the correct pharmacy. Spoke to the pharmacy today and they have no record of the nurse calling! Ridiculous! Now I have to pay $400 out of pocket 2 days before my deployment to get a prescription that should be free had my doctor and his team done their jobs. Thank you Dr. Karanchi for allowing yourself snd your team to fail your patient. I will be pursuing this further. Update: Thank you to the on call physician from the ED who came through and fixed my problem, thank you Dr. Shaeto for caring about a patient who wasn’t your responsibility!"
"Most horrible experience. As a patient you are completely and totally neglected. Dr. Soonho Kwon is of no use, stay away from him. And he is mean too....!!! I don't want even to give them a star but otherwise I cannot post my comments….the department is run by LPN's and nurses that have no clue what they do and take advantages on patients...."
"I have a rare disease and the dr and his team do nothing or even check up okn me at all. Ive already had 2 adrenal failures and 2 blood clots and i cant evwn get a call back or medicine change or refill smh"
"My daughter is a type 1 diabetic, with major complications, she has been waiting two months to have her pump put in. We have now been to 3 different appointments, each one just another consultation, the last one we specifically asked about the pump and were assured that would be the day the pump would be in... still have no idea if or when we will be seeing the person who supposedly will put her pump in. In the meantime, my daughter has been in dka twice more, which is one of the main reasons we need the pump ASAP. Extremely frustrating."
