"At my request, my doctor gave me a referral to see a spine specialist at MUSC Spine Institute on University Blvd in North Charleston. Big mistake!! I was examined as I was having tremendous pain and weakness in both my legs. Was told I would be scheduled either for an MRI or CT. (I have a pacemaker and have been unable to do MRI.) Well! It’s been all of 3 weeks since my visit and not one word from this Institute. Apparently, this facility or at least, this doctor, has no care or concern for her patients. She is fully aware of my pain; but yet no response for 3 weeks!! And the clock ticks on!! I have given up on this facility and since have seeked help elsewhere. I deal with other areas of MUSC and have no complaints with any of them. But this particular facility is a disgrace to MUSC reputation. I hope others receive better treatment than I have.
