"In my 20's I had 3 back surgeries. I continued with a very active lifestyle but my back declined. By the time I decided to get help (age 60), both my legs would go all the way to sleep when walking short distances or just standing. Because of my fears of having another surgery, I was determined to find the best of the best in terms of a surgeon. I did a lot of research, and prayed through my findings. I chose Dr. Wildstein for a number of reasons. It turned out that he was an absolute joy to work with. He was not in-network with my insurance yet he agreed to a set charge. After surgery, I had a complication (not his fault) which necessitated a second surgery a week after the first. I had easy contact with him, had several follow-up visits, and through it all, he was available and honest. But more than the honesty, more than the fairness with money, and the attentiveness to patients is the knowledge and skill. I picked Dr. Wildstein as my top choice of a surgeon and was so glad I did. "Dr Wildstein is truly a lifesaver. I broke my ankle surfing at Folly Beach 6 months ago. It was the kind of injury you turn away from when watching a football game. I wasn’t sure I’d ever walk right again. After surgery 6 months ago, I’m back on my feet and headed to a full recovery. "Doctor Wildstein gave me my life back!!! After a horrible herniation of a disc in my back I was sent to months of physical therapy with no relief by another doctor. After getting to the point where I could no longer walk or stand without terrible pain and a few appointments with Doctor Wildstein, we decided a Microdiscetomy was the best option. It has been 7 weeks since surgery and I feel as if I was never injured. My pain is gone and I am back to enjoying my life again.
