"This pertains to the front desk... no communication and no apologies. There was a scheduling error and she wouldn't just admit to her mistake. I tried to communicate with her and explain myself and she wouldn't listen or try and help at all. No compassion, no friendliness, and zero communication. I wish I could say something nice but I just can't."
"so I've been going here for years, and have never had a great experience. if you just need to be tested for covid or flu your good but anything other then that you'll probably be made to feel stupid or be made out to be a lair. the receptionist are always rude expect for one older lady. no matter what you'll have to wait at least an hour to be seen (appointment or not). ones your called to the back you'll have to be tested for covid and flu in almost any case. I've had several times were they skip looking at my stats (temp, BP, Heart) they tend to only hear half the stuff you tell them or come up with symptoms you don't even have, which always sucks. they sit you in a tiny room with super thin walls so you can hear them talking about lunch or joking about a patient. you can also hear what's going on in the other rooms so you probably don't have true privacy. if you have negative test or not a obvious thing wrong with you. they'll give you bear minimum treatment then when you question them about what you have or what to do. they will start to gas light you or make you feel stupid for even asking. basically they go "here's some meds that won't really help and get out so we can see the next person." mind you this is my own experience with palmetto urgent care so you can come to your own conclusions but tread carefully and ask questions of the stuff if needed. also psa if you go in, at the moment of writing this they switched to appointments only for the urgent care so even if you dying sick they'll tell you to make an appointment which is probably not till the next day so I would call ahead."
"I have gone to this location multiple times and service was decent. Tonight I needed to be seen and came in at 6pm and was told they have reached their capacity for the evening and I could come back in the morning. They close at 8 pm and to stop seeing patients at 6.. two hours before closing is absurd and it wasn’t right. It’s called urgent care for a reason."
"Waited two hours after appointment time. Spent five minutes with a practitioner who told me several factually incorrect things during that short period of time. I ended up at the ER the next day with worsening symptoms of the same unresolved medical issue, where I was seen promptly by an MD who helped me. All I got out of my visit to urgent care was exposure to whatever other illnesses all the many, many other people in the waiting room had."
"Went to this urgent care for severe kidney and UTI symptoms. My urinalysis came back with blood but the person, whom I only saw for approximately 5 minutes, told me it was muscle pain and gave me a steroid and Tramadol injection! Totally disregarded the fact of my symptoms and kidney pain, which left me unable to stand straight!! In addition, patients who were checking in had to wait for the receptionist who was standing outside on her personal cell phone!!! Went to my PCP and I have a SEVERE UTI AND KIDNEY INFECTION! SAVE YOUR HEALTH AND GO ELSEWHERE!!"
