"Called multiple departments at 1330 to schedule appointments and nobody picked up or the operator would say that I’ve called past business hours. I then just tried to have the front desk transfer me, but every time I would start speaking, he would hang up on me. Devin Stone is his name I believe. I serve this country and this is the only healthcare I have and I can’t even contact any provider while the front desk couldn’t even be bothered to stay on the line long enough for me to ask a question.. They wonder why people don’t reenlist……."
"To the lady in the pharmacy who forgot to hang up the phone before you ranted about me, I was not, “just looking for your attention”, but I was in need of your help. I’m sorry you felt inconvenienced because my phone call took “seven minutes of your time”. I waited on hold in line for more than twenty minutes. I thought it was your job to help me when it was my turn. You were in a mad rush keeping on cutting me off not listening to what I was trying to say. To all the staff in this pharmacy that are always so kind and helpful, thank you for your excellent service. I appreciate you even more today that my phone call was taken by this very rude and unkind lady who thinks she was patient and helpful to me."
"Me & my whole family are leaving and transferring to a different state in 2 days, then leave that state again for a 6 weeks training to another state, then back to that new location where we'll be stationed. The pharmacy here won't fill up my 2 months paper prescriptions today! My doctor already verified from Tri-care main pharmacy that it's ok but the pharmacist duty today at this clinic denied it and said that I'm flagged because I refilled one month a few weeks already. But as far as I know, from what I have experienced and from what they have always told me, they refill prescriptions for 3 months always. 1 month refill + 2 months refill = 3 months refill! 3 months refill is how they've always done it! Doesn't matter if transferring to another locations or not. This is how they always do it here and now that I need them to carry on with what they usually do, now that me and the family are out of time all of a sudden someone, my request for refill got denied and the pharmacist today said to go somewhere else after my husband explained the situation! TO THE PHARMACIST AND STAFF of this pharmacy: Please be consistent with your rules most especially please remember that you are not the prescribing doctors. All you have to do is dispense the medicines our doctors prescribed. I understand you have to monitor dispensing but so does our doctors and so do we! We have no power over military orders and obviously we'll be unstable for the next 3 months because the Navy is ordering us to do so! Me and our 2 toddlers! So the least you could've done is be consistent with your rules! I checked it a few times to weeks ago, and everyone there I spoke to said the rules have not changed and that it's ok. I did it several times just to know if these medicines would be covered or not. I was told yes, no problem. Then all of a sudden this! REALLY?! So now what?! Now instead of us concentrating on our travel, last minute problems & saying bye to our friends here in SC, now I have to email my doctor to troubleshoot this again while hoping to get a reply within the next 24 hours. Thanks to this pharmacy!"
"I have been trying to get a refill for a prescription that I NEED for days. I was told the refill was approved by the doctor and to text a number to “get in line” for my prescription to be filled. They never responded back to this message. I called the nurse back and explained that this method she provided did not work. She then tells me to call the refill prescription number but guess what?!?! I can’t do anything without a prescription number! It should NOT be this hard to get medication. Do better naval health clinic."
"Dr. Gore showed great concern and was very personable. I immediately felt as though he understood our specific situation. He took time to call the allergy specialist and review medications. He answered questions and we left there pleased. The staff was great. The young lady who assisted the physician was pleasant, focused and motivated to help! But, yet she interacted really well with my 9 year old... who was sick and cranky. She was a pleasure to talk to and took us back within 5 minutes of arriving. Great visit!"
