"Dr Johnson pours his heart and energy into every single patient he sees. Anyone accusing him of being anything other than the most committed therapist is clearly not truly seeking real treatment. I personally will admit we fought for months over a certain med that I wanted more more more and he said no no no. It took me over 3 months or more to realize not only does he care but he knows what he’s doing and you have to trust he knows more than you. People who think anything negative about him just wants class 2’s tossed their way. He knows what he’s doing and is the best therapist I’ve ever had. Let’s just say I’ve had many. He gives no less than 110% anyone accusing him of being inappropriate clearly has body image issues that need addressing. If you are questioning whether or not you need therapy look no further"
"Best therapist I have been too and I have been seeing a therapist since I was a child. When I started seeing him 2 years ago I was living with my dad, using drugs daily, with no direction in life. Now I have my own apartment , my own car, a girlfriend and am apprenticing to start a career and have been clean for 16 months."
"I have been a patient of Dr Johnson's for several years. He has the most unprofessional and imcompent office staff that I have ever encountered. They got my appointment times and prescriptions mixed up 100% of the time. As a substance abuse professional, Dr Johnson dealt with me because of alcohol dependency and other personal issues. He was aware that I had been prescribed Klonopin by a former physician and attempted to wean me off of alcohol while telling me to continue taking the klonopin. I did my research and eventually went through detox and rehab at a reputable facility. I was told by the Dr. and nurse that he had been prescribing me a benzo that had serious long term side effects, and that it actually would MAKE me want to drink. So, all the time he was prescribing it to me, it was like handing out candy to an addict. He never once explained to me the dangers in taking Klonopin long term. Obviously, he failed me as a patient. It was his job as a doctor to warn me of the risks of all of the medications that he was throwing out. It took alot of money to undo what he damage he did to me as his patient through his incompetency. Sadly, he was only concerned about charging outrageous fees and keeping patients coming back for more meds. This is beyond acceptable. If you're a female, I would take extra precaution as he also talks more to your chest than your face. And I really didn't care to pay $225 to be told about his extramarital affair at every visit. Extremely unprofessional. My recommendation would to be to avoid unless you love throwing your money away."
"If you are a young female please be careful if you visit Dr. Wayne Johnson. He was extremely unprofessional . Every single monthly visit over the course of ten months he would tell me the story of how he cheated on his wife and he would also stare at my body instead of looking me in the eye, saying repeatedly "I've got to be careful with you, I can tell you are a woman who knows how to get what you want when you want it." This was said to me EVERY SINGLE VISIT. It really bothered me that he kept suggesting I was manipulative, because I actually have no desire to manipulate people to get what I want. The only thing I ever wanted from him was a professional doctor and patient relationship. It was creepy /very uncomfortable to hear about how he cheated on his wife, who also helps to run the office. The front office rarely knew the correct times and dates of my appointments, they are clearly mainly concerned on collecting the huge amounts of money they take for very unprofessional treatment. After the tenth time of him telling me about getting "back to the present" and how he overcame the mistake of cheating on his wife, I sincerely felt that he should have been paying me for counseling services, as he rarely let me get much of a word in. He wrote me some of the most powerful prescriptions that were completely unnecessary . I was prescribed antipsychotic medicines that truly made me feel so terrible and confused, and he didn't take it seriously at all. The front office and nurses could never even get straight the long list of medicines he put me on as a young woman with no history of being prescribed such strong medications. I had no clue what I was getting myself into and I feel completely taken advantage of because I trusted Dr. Johnson after him telling me on my first visit that I had to and could trust him to help me through my issues with anxiety and PTSD. I passed my drug screen every time and he always acted so shocked and even made a joke on my first visit when he said laughing, "I'm sure you bought pills from one of my patients." Apparently he thinks having patients who are drug dealers is a laughing matter, which is extremely bad for the Hilton Head community. He runs a subuxone mill and does not care about the people he treats at all and I found this out the hard way. The few times I was able to get a word in about my own personal problems, I told him about my anxiety issues as a result of ptsd from being abused. Dr. Johnson wrote me my last prescription without informing me that I should taper off because he wouldn't be seeing me anymore. I took it as prescribed and was shocked to learn the week of my appointment that I could not go back to the doctor and "didn't have a doctor", as the lady at the front desk told me clinically and cruelly to go to the hospital instead, in the middle of a pandemic, when I was under the impression I had a doctor I was seeing monthly and I was dropped with no warning, because apparently another patient was supposed to tell me I couldn't come to his office anymore. I truly think he has issues with seeing younger females because he always brought up sexual issues with me and his whole cheating drama, when sex is truly the least of my concerns and I don't care about my doctor's sex life or anyone else's. Dr. Johnson told me when I informed him I was practicing abstinence after suggesting I needed to take birth control pills, "lack of sex is unhealthy and it was probably why I had nerve problems" I have problems with anxiety but sex has nothing to do with it. It hurts to know how manipulated I ended up being by ever visiting this doctor. I honestly am grateful that I didn't die coming off of some of the medications he prescribed me at extremely high doses, because as the front office let me know, another patient was supposed to inform me that I couldn't be a patient anymore. He didn't. Please, be careful, if you go to see this doctor. My experience was extremely sexist, unprofessional, traumatic, and abusive. I am so thankful that I now have a doctor who is always professional."
"I’ve been seeing Dr. Johnson as a patient for about 17 years. He has help me through some of the most difficult times in my life pertaining to needs in depression and anxiety, the medications needed, and learning to live without them When the time comes, if it does for you. Dr. Johnson knows this material very well and takes on patients with these types of issues and more. Over the last 17 years, I have recommended people to him and I would still of course do the same now. He’s an excellent doctor with great insight into the human mind, body, and psyche. I’d give more than five stars if I could. Actually, here: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
