Lauren H Carter, PhD

Lauren H. Carter, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist located at 8471 Resolute Way in North Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Carter received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Florida State University and completed her predoctoral internship at the Charleston Consortium Clinical Psychology Internship Program. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in behavioral medicine at MUSC. Dr. Carter's clinical practice focuses on optimizing quality of life for patients with medical and psychiatric conditions, including bariatric surgery, eating disorders, solid organ transplant, chronic pain, women's health, and substance use disorders.
