"Simply put, I would advise that people look elsewhere for medical care. I was a patient of Dr. Goetze from 2019 until today. I had heard mixed reviews about this office, but it is conveniently located in the downtown Bluffton area, so I gave it a go. I suppose if you’re looking for medical advice such as “can’t you just try not to be anxious?” This may be the place for you. Their billing practices (I was last billed $85 for what was supposed to be a covered annual checkup under my insurance) are questionable. I tried to make an appointment today for my annual checkup, and I was told that since it had been over a year since they had last seen me, they no longer have my medical records. This is also questionable at best, seeing as medical records are mostly electronic now. (My orthodontist from 17 years ago still has my medical records, why doesn’t this place still have them?) Please save yourself the hassle and find a provider with more integrity for your healthcare needs."

"I never write bad reviews because I am a positive person. But I want to help people avoid the horrible experience I went through. I went in to see PA Stephanie Lovato on a Monday and told her I think I have pneumonia (never had it before but assumed its what it felt like) she sent me home with a cough syrup with a narcotic in it. I called the office on Wednesday explaining I still wasn't feeling good and getting worse with a high fever, she told me that I could come in on Friday for a chest X-ray. I was shocked. I ended up taking myself to urgent care where a chest X-ray confirmed i had pneumonia in both lungs, I then had to go to hospital where they had to do a CT scan because of a weird spot on my lung (luckily it was just the pneumonia) and then give me 3 different IVs to treat me. When I got the bill for her "service" I let the office know that I shouldn't have to pay this since I now have hospital bills to pay for her mistake. I then got a letter saying they were sending this to a collection agency. I called the office again asking for Stephanie Lovato to call me back about this and I never got a call back. I ended up paying the collections because it was starting to effect my credit. This is a very unsympathetic office/staff and what concerns me were all the elderly people sitting in the waiting room, I really hope they aren't being taking advantage of the way I was. Truly disappointed."
