"Dr. Porter and her staff in Savannah were thorough, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I'm so glad I came here despite the low ratings. She's a top notch doctor who actually listens!"
"Front office wait time was a bit long, but they seemed friendly especially because I did my check-in online. Staff was very informative and nice, they really seem to enjoy working there."
"Do not do your sleep study here. The tech that set me up in my room was high on coke or meth. I'm not just mad and talking trash. She was going a mile a minute and couldn't stop talking. But it was the personal talk, the interruptions, the narcissistic but paranoid behavior, and just the overall obvious appearance of someone using meth. First thing I noticed was that this place is like a time warp to the late 80' or early 90's. Old technology. I've done two sleep studies before this, and both were in my own bed, with a single device worn over my chest. This place puts several dirty, old, reused wires to place on you, along with sticking a bunch of petroleum jelly or paste, whatever it was, on several spots on your head and then tapes them to you your head. They do not have an alarm that let's them know if a wire has become compromised or has fallen off. So I would think if that wire is there, it's needed for a correct study; therefore, the study is compromised. There were two staff members there. Both likely have the Waffle House and Walmart on their resume. The walls are paper thin, and I could hear them talking all night. Obviously, the one on meth just gacked out of her mind, being the leader in the conversation. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep just from that alone. My gut told me when I got there that I should just turn around and go back home, and I wish I had. Honestly, that was the worst experience at a medical facility that I have ever encountered. Based on other reviews, I'm not going to try to call them to complain. I am going to inform my insurance company not to cover the charges from them, and let my doctor know what happened and that I am not paying out of pocket for it either. I am a Construction Superintendent. Based on what I noticed, as far as cleanliness and safety goes, I am going to notify the proper city & county authorities and the local Fire Chief. That facility is not up to code on multiple levels. The tech that worked with me was 100% definitely high on drugs. In the morning, she woke me up to notice the wires they put on me were wrapped all around me due to tossing and turning because there's a crank junkie jabbering all damn night, And the first thing she did was laugh at me, then tell her co-worker to come look so she can laugh at me as well. Very unprofessional. Not even close to professional. Dirty. Disgusting. This clinic should not be in business."
"The staff and doctors treat the patients like a herd of animals in this clinic. No respect at all. My appointment was at 10am on 3/11/2022. At 10:40am the staff told me that I had to wait another 40 minutes before the doctor could see me. Imagine waiting for one and half hours for a 15 minute doctor visit! When I told them that this was just too long, one of the nurses told me that this was normal in a very rude manner. I would stay away from this practice as much as I can."
"Front office is extremely rude. They “forget” to actually put in insurance and you get stuck with the whole bill since the medical billing unit is SO understaffed it takes them a few months to get to your account. It’s sad with how much the Drs and the owner of the medical billing unit makes and how little they probably pay their staff. Because you get what you pay for & with that front staff, you can tell they didn’t pay much for them. Especially since they won’t hire more people to handle the medical billing. You would like southeast lung would have their own medical billing with how many patients they seem to have. But when you go upstairs you can see the small little billing unit with less than ten people who handle everything for apparently multiple different dr offices. The office staff is like dealing with Walmart employees in scrubs, you’re basically inconveniencing them by just being there and making them do their job. They higher ups obviously don’t care because they average a 2 on google reviews. All they care about it how much money they can make for themselves, instead of paying the front staff more and hiring a better more professional front staff & expanding the medical billing section. Even if you have to drive farther. It would be worth it to know youre in good hands who care about your health from the moment you walk in the door, to the moment youre finished with them by paying your bill."
