The Doctors are good, but the corporate structure and support are not. NO reply to a message from this Corp. Office. NO one picking up phones in Good Creek. New software preventing faxes and Dr. looking at recent labs and specialist visits. WHO RUNS A MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT THIS WAY?"

"I'm seriously trying to understand physician offices and medical corporate offices. Last week I called Dr. Durrence's office asking for a referral to a physical therapist for pain in my wrist. I was told that I would have to make an appointment to have the doctor look at my wrist. In the roughly year and a half that I have been going to this office, I've actually seen Dr. Durrence once. The last appointment that I had was with a nurse practitioner and it didn't sit well with me. Without going into detail, I was not satisfied with her at all. Dr. Durrence's office is about 65 miles from me and he was a referral. The one time that I did meet him,, he was personable and listend to my issue. I can't say the same for the rest of his staff. I told the woman on the phone that I would make other arrangements. I had to repeat twice that I did not want an appointment and again would make other arrangements. Within 5 minutes I received a call from Dr. Durrence's office manager. She immediately accused me of cussing at the previous person that I had talked to. I had no idea what she was talking about and told her that. She kept talking over me and obviously was not listening to me. She told me that they don't have to take abuse from anyone. Again, I tried to explain what I had said to the previous person on the phone. She kept talking over me again. I did sternly ask if she was going to listen or not. She told me to come in and fill out a form and she would transfer my files to another doctor's office. That's not at all what I had asked for. She repeated it a couple of times and now I will have my file transferred. The whole situation is ridiculous over my not wanting an appointment. I didn't even get a chance to explain that I have an orthopedic surgeon that I have been seeing who is closer. To add salt to the wound, I had called the corporate office last week to voice my concerns and asked for a call back. I have not received one. It's a shame that something so simple can become so escalated. People need to learn to listen, rather than making assumptions. The fact they they are so willing to drop me as a patient and not being decent enough to call me back over something so silly, shows how much integrity they have and how much they care about their patients."
