"The docs and PAs here are terrible. They don't listen, don't ask about medical history or.recent medications. You get 2 minutes with a grumpy professional who is probably just going to rush you thru. Have a slight cough? They'll probably try to give you opiates. Just get off antibiotics? They'll never ask you and just try to put you on more. I truly can't believe that the people I've seen there were educated past YouTube."
"Poor communication between staff Asked me my pharmacy 4 times and sent it to the wrong pharmacy which delayed me getting the medicine by over 24 hours Pressed to “stay focused why I was there” because medical assistant didn’t communicate I was there for two visits. NP even said “I can’t promise insurance will cover a blood glucose stick” after I reported s/sx consistent with low blood sugar (shakiness, nausea, generalized weakness, etc) and I had to advocate that I was there for two reasons, and the medical tech didn’t chart both despite me explaining. Could barely understand the MA w her mask on and kept asking for annunciation Rushed when there was no wait time Dismissed when discussing symptoms, not friendly staff, felt like I was getting interrogated"
"I wish I could give no stars. This location has consistently gone down in regards to customer service and ability to see clients with various non emergency needs. McKenna, who was at the front desk, likes to speak to adults in a very condescending manner during check-in and does not like to be asked questions. I explained that some of us old enough to be her mother don't always like to be referred to as "sweetie" or "sweetheart", especially by strangers in a professional setting. She also didn't like that I wasn't "giddy", that I asked detailed questions and that I was knowledgeable about my concerns and the issue I was having. That location does not like knowledgeable individuals asking questions. I was referred to the ER (even though I was not seen) because due to what it could be (they didn't even see me) they couldn't diagnose or treat the issue I'd it turned out to be something they can't treat. I left to go to the ER (amazing customer service, efficient and answered my questions with a smile, which made me smile) and called back to give feedback to the office manager or location manager and was transfered to guess who? McKenna the receptionist. I recognized her voice. I did not ask to speak to the desk secretary or the check-in person. I asked to speak to the office or location manager to give feedback so the very fact that they transferred me to the person who was handling check-in says alot. I let Mckenna know that I would like for speak the manager and I was told that the manager was on PTO and that I can call back tomorrow. But why transfer the call to Mckenna when I was specific with who I wanted to speak to? If the manager was unavailable why didnt the person who answered just say she was unavailable? Mckenna proceeded to tell me I was rude to her. How she defines rude is by being assertive, not being giddy and giggly, asking detailed questions and being well-spoken. I didn't yell at her. Never raised my voice. Never called her a name. Never spoke disrespectful in any way, but because I refused to be giggly and asked detailed questions this young lady considered that rude. I think the issue Mckenna had was who was in front of her speaking so well and asking questions.... We are there to be seen and as long as we are not yelling, cursing or being disrespectful, speaking low tone we can ask questions and do not have to be all giggly -especially when not feeling well. I let her (Mckenna) know that everyone who isn't giggly, who is well-spoken and who asks detailed questions isn't rude and some of us who are older do not like to be called sweetie by younger individuals. I consider a young stranger calling me "sweetie" in a professional setting rude and unprofessional. She seemed to understand this after I broke this down. However, this location needs training or just needs to be a lab location only. I still find it interesting that the office location manager doesn't have a direct line where a voice message can be left nor is their another person at Roper who is over the office location manager. Very interesting administrative structure."
"I am in the Roper Healthcare Network so I go there to get my labs done before I go see my doctor for semi annual physicals. Very convenient because they take you in starting at 7:30 am with first come first serve. Get the fasting and labs out of the way so I can drink coffee ☕. Britney is the best!!! Very nice young ladies"
"Kelley was the nurse that cared for me whenever I visited. She was kind, compassionate, and patient as I explained my symptoms. She made me feel seen and heard and was very respectful. I was in and out and didn't have to wait too long. Overall a great experience with Roper Express Care!"
