"Very rude and condescending type of care. Refusal to answer basic questions is not patient care. Definitely need to revisit the idea of patients being people, not a number."
"Dr. Hallman doesn't listen to what a patients true problem is. He decides what he thinks it is and sticks with it. He denied my gallbladder being my problem even after a trip to the ER showed gallstones. Told me it was probably gastroenteritis."
"Front desk staff very nice, nurse that went over all my info etc was extremely thorough and very very nice. Dr William Hallmon, M.D. Came in and started of very nice. Until he started asking questions of 20 questions 19 he cut me off 3-5 words in and continues to do so. The. Started telling me what I said with-ought even hearing my full answers. Then when he could tell I was frustrated he stopped and said. I can see you are frustrated and realize it’s because of this or that. I replied no sr that is not why. I am frustrated and more so irritated because you have asked me over 20 questions and 19 if not all of them you have cut me off before I finished. Then I explained all I had bin through and because of all I have been through. I have a much greater compassion for peoples, life and time, peoples thoughts and respect for individuals more then I ever have. However because I have a much greater live of all things I ask for some respect In Return. I asked him did you purposely and rudely interrupt me . Honestly expecting him to say no or apologize. Then he admitted he had and he felt he gained the answer I needed and did not need to hear the rest of my statement. He looked me I. The face and told me he interrupted me because the other few words I was going to say where not needed. Then asked me to go ahead and finish all the questions he had interrupted. I stood up and said no need. Because I have. A much greater respect for people, in general of all degrees and no degrees just people and it was obvious that he did not have any respect for people other then what he found to be what he wished to hear. And apologize for leaving because as one person to another I had a greater respect for him and a person then he could ever have for any one with his rude and above all attitude. I said there is no reason to continue. I thanked his nurse for being so kind and left. I have never said something negative before about anything in a review. But this one has 0 respect for people and has no bedside manor or ability to talk one to one with a person that is not of his stature. One of the most intelligent, ignorant, inflated ego, condescending people I have never met!"
"A+ at hospital. D- at the office. My experience on the day of my colonoscopy procedure was nothing short of excellent. I arrived and completed the obligatory paperwork, waited a short time and was greeted warmly. After getting undressed and into the hospital gown, I waited only a short time before the anesthesiologist came in, went over the process and had me sign more forms. Then Dr. Hallman came in, introduces himself and chatted to ensure that I was comfortable with what would ensue. He has a nice bedside manner. I was treated well and awoke about 20-30 minutes later in a recovery area. After a few minutes was wheeled to my dressing room. The doctor came in and reviewed the procedure and the photos he took. I received verbal and written discharge info. Overall, an A+ experience. My big HOWEVER is the office staff that do not answer the telephone when you call, do not return calls as they say they will, and, in general, are indifferent and seemingly act like you are a nuisance. My suggestion to the clinic is to have the hospital staff train the office staff on patient relations. Also, the prep instructions indicated that Jell-O could be consumed the day before the procedure, the hospital called to confirm everything and strongly said no Jell-O, it complicates the process. I said the instructions say its okay, I was told they asked that the instructions be corrected (months ago). My guess is, the office staff was too busy dodging phone calls to get the instructions updated."
"I had my procedure done today with Dr Hallman and he and his staff could not have been more nice and reassuring. I was a little anxious when I went in but they made me feel so comfortable. Each person had a job and they did it with perfection. Highly recommended by me no doubt."
