"I brought my husband to his PT appointment early. He came in, checked in at the front desk, and sat and waited for over 20 minutes. Eventually, the doctor comes out and accuses him of being "late" and stated he was marked as a "no-show." He used the restroom one time, which is something you'd expect waiting patients to do- especially when they come in early. The doctor insisted he came out multiple times which is not true. They refused to see my husband for his PT appointment and continued to berate him for being "late" saying he should have just called. I'd love to know what the check-in process is like because I've worked in Healthcare for 8 years and understand that when a patient it checked-in that reflects on the doctors side so even if a patient uses the restroom, you know they are there because they have been checked in electronically. I tried calling the clinic multiple times and the phone rings, no answer, and says voice-mail is full so you can't even leave a message. Next contact will be to ICE."
"I’ve came here 3 times so far. One for my PHA, I was in and out within 30 mins. The second one was a regular appt, I had Mrs. Dowdy and she was very professional and understanding. She put me in for all the referrals and lab work that I needed. 3rd appt was for physical therapy. The physical therapists are amazing!!"
"Since the change for permanent party, we can no longer use the appointment Line to schedule for Hubert. When you call Hubert, the phone is never answered."
"I am a new service member to the Army and to Fort Eisenhower. I arrived here during the month of September 2023. When I arrived here, I volunteered to commit to AIRBORNE School. I was informed that I would have to pass a physical, before being approved. It is now December of 2023 and I still have no update on my status. For months I have gone to PVT Henry Huber Troop Medical Clinic, to setup an appointment for my physical. Each time I am denied access and informed there are no appointments available. I graduate from the 25-Uniform course on February 14th of 2024. You can not do AIRBORNE in processing within 30 days of your orders being sent. My biggest fear/concern is that I will not get the appointment before the deadline. I am also unaware if I am being discriminated against due to my gender. My male peers that volunteered (the same time as I did) for AIRBORNE School, have all already started the process of completing their physicals. The staff of PVT Henry Huber Troop Medical Clinic show no regard for my concerns."
"If you want a Physician assistant who knows nothing and yells at patients, PA Gretchen, Dowdy is the one you want. She doesn't review medical history of each patient before concluding her appointment. You're extremely unprofessional and need retraining and to learn basic communication skills. Have an active conversation with your patients and not one-side conversations. You make this clinic way worse than it has to be. Stop being toxic and actually do your job. Why do you yell at your patients? Why do you not review regulatory guidance before recommending treatment or decisions, but then when presented with those guidelines or written guidance, you back into a corner and then begin turning disrespectful? You're part of the problem with Military Medical treatment."
