It felt like we’d known him for years and we were not only put immediately at ease but we laughed & cut up with him the entire session. AND in spite of all the distractions that I was creating with the jokes & horseplay, Scott was still able to show us some awesome dance moves and totally made us enjoy the lesson. "My husband and I wanted to learn how to dance before our wedding. We didn't want something choreographed but wanted to learn steps so it would be authentic. Our instructor was funny, sweet, and absolutely amazing! She was so patient with us and helped us learn the steps. Our dance looked gorgeous and was authentic in the moment. We had so much fun learning multiple dances through the wedding package. If we lived in Charleston, then we would've continued without a doubt. Such a fun date night or great for a special event."
"I have been a student at Fred Astaire Mt. Pleasant for 7 months now and it has literally changed my life! I am at the studio a minimum of 3 nights a week taking one of the group classes, private lessons, or attending the weekly dance parties. The staff and instructors are AWESOME! They truly care about each student's progress and will do whatever they can to help them reach their dancing goals! One of my favorite aspects of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio experience, that I was not expecting, are the friends you make. At the studio they refer to everyone as being a part of the FADS family, and that is exactly what it feels like! I highly recommend trying out the Intro. class on Wednesday nights and staying for the party afterwards! You won't regret it!"

Furthermore, we've always found support in dance opportunities such as trophy balls, showcases, or even simple group dance nights where we can really test out what we've learned.
