Ridge Spring Family Practice

"Aproximately two years ago, by the grace of God, i was referred to the Family Practice. Let me tell you that i was a mess, my blood pressure was literally through the roof to the point I was a walking stroke or heart attack. I was overweight, had a lot of fluid especially in my feet and ankles, as well as several other disorders i had a hugely immense grenormous amount of family history that included just about every disease under the sun. i had already been on over 33 bp meds that either did not bring it down or i had a reaction to it, and i had been batteling the very high blood pressure for over 6-yrs. Not to mention the I had been to a multitude of doctors during that period of time as well. The other difficult thing i had to deal with was a lot of my conditions have the same side effects making it more difficult to pin point which one my ailments was requiring treatment at that particular time... Well let me tell you i was very frustated at this point with my self, the doctors, and the whole nine yards. Hope deffered makes the heart sick; so much so, that i was hyper nervous and very anxious at the thought of meeting with another doctor. Especially after 6 years of varying opinions - and a multitude of medicines. Obviously nothing was working, and i had lost hope the hope that i had was now in the pit of my stomach chur.ning around, and i had even come to terms that there would be no resolution and this was how the rest of my life would be and i was just going to have to live with it. Then by the Grace of God an ER nurse referred me to Ridge Spring Family Practice ALL of the staff and assistants are heaven sent. Their over all attitude reaps with a genuine i care and positivity radiates through out the practice. You begin to feel like you have a whole team on you side, and you will . When NP Elizabeth Morris entered my room for the first time and we met, she pulled up her stool and said what seems to be the problem. I was alloted the time to actually explain and not once did she look at her watch, or make me feel like my time was up so talk faster. She took the time to listen to everything and i mean everything, and then gave me a hug and stated WE are going to get to the root of these problems you are having. WE will get some tests ordered etc, and start the process of elimating what are the immediate underlying factors, and reassured me it would be okay. When i left that day my heart was not sick anymore because my hope had finnally been restored. Aproximately two years later my blood pressure is down, i have lost weight, and my over all health is so much better. THANK YOU RIDGE SPRING FAMILY PRACTICE FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO, HAVE DONE, AND ARE GOING TO DO. YOU ARE SPECTACULAR AND I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF ANY WHERE ELSE....INFINITY CUDOS AND STAR RATINGS ARE WELL DESERVED . "I had enough had beed a patient for at least 6 years but when the new Nurse Practioner Showed up I was just a number? My new Doctor not practicing is Amazing and treats me with respect and is Happy to see me Anytime! Until this Practice has a change of Staff Good Luck"

"Good luck ever getting a dr appt here. Just released from the hospital and had to make a follow up dr appt with my dr and was told oh well we can get you in IN A MONTH! Plus I was lied to about them getting my transfer papers from my old dr when I moved here 3 times and then they make appts to establish care and don't call you until the day before or day of to let you know you have an appt. They also send you elsewhere to get vaccines. It's a joke."

"My husband called this morning to be seen today at 8. We hadn't heard anything so he called back at 10, the person he spoke with said she tried to call around 9:10 but the line was busy and he would need to be there by 10. He had no missed called and no message was left."
