"People who are giving 1-star reviews are trolls... I graduated from here in 2014 and am so thankful for the majority of teachers that I was a student of and also, believe it or not, the Senior Thesis process that some people dread when they shouldn't. Going here put me far above the majority of students at the college I attended (South Carolina) all thanks to the rigors and discipline that being a Magnet student taught me. Not to mention the scholarships & grants I received... so your kid will save you money parents. I will admit since this school is within the CCSD system you are at the mercy of some tenured teachers that are not qualified to be teaching all Honors and AP courses. The AP course selection is fairly large, only missing some languages other than Spanish & French and other niche subjects from what I remember."

"I attended here - strong subjects were (History, Science, Foreign Language) weak subjects were (Math, Computer Science, Arts/Music). Being a military brat, I attended 4 high schools. I was incredibly behind in math when I transfered from here to Northern Virginia schools. Also, their GPA weight does not carry over to high schools in other states. My 3.8 was reduced to a 2.8 before it was averaged in. I would go elsewhere unless you intend on graduating here."
