"First of all I would like to say I’m excited that you guys have more in demand programs here! But who exactly can stop a 9-5 job to attend programs in the day? Must be students fresh out of high school!!! It is incredibly frustrating to look on a website and see a program you want to attend and it CLEARLY SAYS “evening classes offered” and when I call and inquire about it now it’s only offered in the day??? Is there any programs here at this school that caters to 9-5 workers???? Like why aren’t there night time programs??? Waste of time."
"Currently a student here and needed to withdrawal due to not having childcare for core classes that last all day(if you have a day job, kiss it goodbye because you’ll be in class from 8-5). Instead of having a plan in place for situations as such, I was offered to retake a class (that’s fine) and then take a class I already received transfer credit for to replace the two on campus classes I would’ve taken had I not left. The classes are $2440/class which I think crazy for an online prerequisite class. I was told if I left now and didn’t replace those classes, I would end up owing them money back for classes I didn’t take. So essentially, once your loans are disbursed to them, you’re not getting your money back at all. According to them the schedule you receive at orientation is not the same that they use for financial aid. I had an issue with an online teacher and long story short, she’s still teaching as if nothing ever happened. Save your money and go to a school that cares about their students and won’t rip them off. Now I’m stuck with a terrible teacher and a retaking a class I already received transfer credit for. In other news, the man at the front desk is so sweet and nice."
"I really enjoyed my experience!! This school offers all the tools you will need to get a job!! I see alot of negative comments but anybody with an ounce of professionalism knows there are rules and a dress code everywhere you go and the school talks about the dress code , hair, Piercing etc. .. before you start so it's no surprises!!!!! Just rule breaker that interrupt classes for foolishness!! Southeastern is a Awesome school!!!"
"Southeaster college is the most unprofessional college to attend. Instead of teaching students the things they should be taught, the Dean and professors who are employed there are worried about all the wrong things. Instead of teaching they are worried about someone who is wearing a small stud nose ring that can’t even be seen unless you are paying very close attention and threatening to “permanently dismiss” me due to me not being able to take the nose ring out from me having it so long and it being stuck in my nose. I have never attended a school or job where they complain about having a simple nose ring that is hard to see in the first place. I definitely don’t recommend this college if you are actually looking for somewhere to learn and looking for somewhere that will treat you like an equal instead of belittling you and speaking to you like a child."
"The staff provided a healthy environment to learn. It was good to hear perspectives from other student ambassadors during meetings with the President, Dean and staff. All the instructors encourage you to be the best you can be if you`re willing to listen and learn. It felt good to finish college and I`m glad Southeastern gave me the opportunity."
