"My family member, an elderly man, was scheduled for a routine colonoscopy. Once the procedure was underway the found and removed polyps. Then they send him a bill for over 300$ and his insurance refuses to pay and tells him it is because the AnMed surgery center is not in the AnMed network. The office staff were dismissive and uncaring that an elderly veteran on a fixed income was now stuck with a bill that could have been avoided with proper medical financial councelling BEFORE the procedure.Patients need to beware."
"Dr. Khandekar was great, and actually the facility was wonderful two years ago, but I don't have as good an impression this time around. I recommended it to my husband, and he's driving an hour to get there, but this time we called for his charges two weeks before his initial appointment and were told he'd get a printout of the facility charge at his initial appointment--we'd have to call each doctor to get their charge. He got to the desk and was told they didn't have anything or even an idea of the charge for that visit that day. Then we called again and were told they'd have it a week before the actual procedure and to call back--that they didn't have time to call patients. I was blown away by the lack of professionalism from the staff. We will just find a doctor closer to Simpsonville next time."
