"They made us feel like family and helped relieve the worry of first time parents when our little one wasn’t with us. Would recommend this place and all of its teachers in a heartbeat. Only reason why we left was because of the distance from our work/home, and getting into a daycare closer to that allowing for an extra hour to our family time at home. We will truly miss this facility."
"If I could give this daycare zero I would. I am waiting months after taking my child out before writing a review because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t over reacting. But now having him in a new daycare, I can see the difference it makes! It sucks we had to go through such a horrible experience to find another daycare that is so amazing! My child went to lpbw for about 6 weeks. First let’s start off by saying my niece went there when it first opened and aside from one incident we thought they were wonderful, definitely not the case five years later. It started at registration, when I was told in June, we would be in in September. I called in October and I was told no December, then when I called in November, a week before I was to start back work, I was told March. Luckily I had someone to watch him. He started in September and we had problems from the beginning. He got bit the first time on his third day...(I said okay I know this happens, wasn’t angry). I would watch the cameras there were rarely, I mean rarely 2 people in the room for 10 children. Most of the time it was one teacher( the only one we even remotely liked, I felt she did try). I ended up keeping my cameras up ALL DAY AT work because he was bitten two more times by the end of the second week. Not to mention there was a span of 10 min during open play where there were 10 one year olds left completely alone in the room. One child was on top of my child. I called the owner the first time and she said she would take care of it. It was better for about a week. He was still getting bit. They were always “short staffed.” One little girl (who I’m pretty sure is related to the owner, who I saw bite 6 times in two days, and bit my son 2 times at once not to mention 7/9 times he was bit in 6weeks!!! there were times he would be in a highchair for extended amounts of time, one time for 2.5 hours. I was told this was for him to “cope” to the environment. There were numerous other times there would be 8-10 min spans there would be no teachers in the room. I called the owner the 2 & 3 time about the biting, she said it was because they were one-two year olds and you can’t reprimand them. When I asked about her biting policy she said no more than 3 times in eight months. But the child who bites and the child that gets bitten gets a “boo boo” report sent home. My child who is normally very outgoing would play by himself because he was terrified. He screamed and cried when he was dropped off and just never acted himself. The last week he was there he was bit two more times by the same girl on Wednesday, and then on Friday when it happened I went up to talk to the owner in person because when I went to look at the camera to see, i ironically didn’t have access. Mind you my second time taking off work early to deal with this. She refused to come talk to me, I told her by phone I was taking him out and she pretty much lied and said it wasn’t the same kid (however it really didn’t matter who it was at this point. There is no reason a child should be bitten this much in six weeks or at all!). She then stated that, “it wasn’t the same little girl, and that she hates for an eight year relationship to end like this.” Apparently not because she didn’t care about my child being bit or hit or being left alone. Not to mention, I know exactly who it was who bit him! She then had the audacity to tell me she “requires a two week notice of taking your child out so I would have to pay.” Umm NO! And once I called about another child being hurt while no one was in the room. Another time a teacher was on her cell phone and was using her feet to keep a child away from my son. This whole experience was absolutely heartbreaking for me and my family. I knew the owner for eight years and forced this daycare on my husband, I am not one to write bad reviews or have confrontations, but My baby was miserable. The good reviews on here are older clients, the owners husband and a teacher’s husband and the a teacher there. I see now what a great daycare is, and I highly recommend not choosing this one."
"I wrote a review on Facebook a few months ago. LPBWA has shut down the review section of their Facebook page. There were multiple negative reviews after mine and I’m sure that’s why. I sent my infant about 6 times before removing him. He was frequently placed in a swing for up to 6 hours a day and often not even picked up to be fed. He would cry every time he was put down, I’m sure due to not knowing when he would be picked up again. After only going a few times he ended up with a flat spot on the back of his head. I was told this is normal when I brought it to their attention, it’s not. I was told there were always two staff members in the infant room even during lunch breaks. I left the cameras up all day while at work. This is not true. The only time there were ever two people in with ten babies was when a parent showed up or durIng a staff change. On his last day he was placed in a chair on the ground with four other children. He was about twelve weeks old. One child stood in front of him and was hitting him, another next to the chair trying to climb on him and one behind the chair bouncing it. The only staff member had her back turned and was changing a diaper. This went on for quite a while and while watching on the cameras my husband drove to pick him up. He Never went back. When he mentioned it to the owner she said the were understaffed because people were out sick. The days he went spanned about a month. If staff is sick they should have subs and not take new babies until the rooms can be monitored safely. The people who had good experiences at this place seemed to have them years ago and more recent reviews I read before it was shut down were negative. My child will never go back."
"My son started there five weeks ago. The first week or so was good, then he started to get bit. The first time he got bit, we knew kids will be kids and it will happen. Then he got bit again. We called the owner and she said she was going to look into it. Then he got bit two more times in one day!! My wife went there and talked to the owner, she said again she going to look into it. This time said she did not have a bitting policy. She just said kids will bite. Well my son got bit four more times in a week and a half!!!! This point it is totally unacceptable. We pulled him out and called the owner to meet and talk. She didn't even have the decency to come to the daycare and talk face to face. We had to talk to her on her cell phone. Turns out one kid in class bit him 5 out of the 8 times and the kid bit other kids as well. Never got kicked out. Very poorly ran place and I do not recommend to anyone to take their kids there."
"Clean facility with loving owner and staff. I will not take my kids anywhere else!!!! When I didnt feel safe with one of the employees taking care of my child the owner and staff members went above and beyond to make sure I felt completely comfortable. Grace G. Who also goes by Grace H., Grace Human or Clintisha Is a former employee and the individual who's trying to hurt LPBWA business by putting out false accusations and reviews. Please avoid reading her reviews and check out LPBWA yourself."
