"This feels more like a interrogation room than anything else. Food is practically inedible. Psychiatrist will only see you maybe once for about 15 minutes a day, and will just say something like "why do you think you're here?", Will not do anything at all to actually diagnose you and will just transfer you to another mental health care facility that will actually try to help you. This isn't a crisis center."

"Outrageous prices that can almost bankrupt you. Terrible therapists/doctors that will literally belittle, demean, and treat you almost subhuman. One therapist was put on leave after punching a whole through the wall. You will see things you shouldn’t have to, like drug raged patients and criminals."

"Don't bet your life on them! If you don't know someone's exact health problem during emergency the EMT writes you off to Behavioral Health affiliated with a Mental Health place that also writes you off where you get round and round bs on their hours waiting for no answers. I mean, I know its probably not in their job description or "Against ethics". They're worried about ethics? How about ethics of how they treat patients consequentially due to their own misleading actions, of own medical agenda? They are an indirect staff when it comes to communication. They are just trained to figure out what drugs people can take and then dope the people up enough to get them to a coherent state. The staff neglected to tell me and he really needs. Instead of saying they couldn't help/have no authority, they talked to us like we were stupid but I am not naive.They misled us and failed to bring up the care my relative really needs. Even outside of my bs experience here, people deserve to be cared for and answers, not get the round and round bs through the triage.All in all, they just set you up for more bs in the future, a drain on your time and money/wallet which is one thing. Then misconstrue medical history only looking at current while dismissing the past history as well because of their job limitations and what's under the microscope/MRI. Then, they transfer those misleading information, written off to a mental health place which takes months to even look at a patient let alone see them and don't even listen to what the patients have to say creating more confusion, frusturation and even more medical problems financially and in terms of medical care. Then, they slap a bandage on you and wash their hands with the whole thing and write you off as a mood/personality label such as: "Depressed/Delusional/Psychotic aka; Mental." Since the beginning of entry level, they just pretend to be looking into the case and "Hold overnight for observation" while reassuring patients and family to keep them at bay for a good week. Whereas, if you look up their job field/description have no actual (major) authority to treat the patient or manage the case, be medically involved in the whole matter. If the EMT ever enters the patient under their unit again I am going to go in the room and flash a big bold red sign, holding it up that says "Get me a (number of) someone of authority that can transfer us to ICU/Palliative Care Immediately"! My family and I had to wait a week where the The head nurse later on told me nothing showed up on an MRI whereas I read between the lines of what she implicated, didn't tell me and figured out there is more going on which she neglected to tell me.They have sent my family so far back they don't even know in terms of answers and misleading medical affiliated information-that is until I get a hold of doctor records to get some actual help, not thanks to them. Even outside of my bs experience here, people deserve to be cared for and answers, not get the round and round bs through the triage. They don't care and they don't listen about what the patient needs. Once in a patient room, no one will talk to you until the specialized "third floor"nurse. They don't even know who is on staff or recommend any other places/resources and the most ill-advised as well as ill-equipped center have ever dealt with.Went through this center 3 times, fool me once, twice and once now no more! I will end up going submitting patient to Greenville if I have to even if it means a 5-10 minute longer drive. No thanks to them, now I know NOT to go through Behavioral Health am taking every precaution necessary and preparing for the future just to get the proper care that my relative needs and not wants just to avoid the round and round bs. Every patient and family member deserves to be listened to and shouldn't just be another case or dollar sign. This is unjustified and unethical and now I know where NOT to go the next emergency. I'll say it once, I'll say it again, literally, don't bet your life on them!"

"I signed myself in for temporarily having thoughts of self harm.. their are no locks on bathroom door and no shower curtain the men and women are in the same unit and the staff behind the window ignore the patients so females don't feel safe enough to shower or use restroom because if a man tried coming in the staff wouldn't care of pay attention enough to notice something was wrong. Their was also a guy with cuts all up his arm from wrist to elbow, none of the staff gave him anything to clean the wounds the whole 2 days I was their. The psychologist would just respond with" theirs another window knocker" anytime we would try to get their attention, with no acknowledgement for several minutes. Their is no compassion or concern for the patients, and honestly nobody who has been there would ever consider going for help their again, it's sad cause another women said that if their is another next time we would rather go through with her plan before she tried getting help their and being made to feel like trash . The are suppose to be their to help people not make them feel worthless"

"Felt like my money was wasted and I learned not a damn thing. Put me on medication that made me feel suicidal and none of the treatment actually helped. I've learned you have to help yourself... These guys just steal your money. Got the bill... 30,000$ something odd dollars. After I just tried to hang myself because of financial reasons. The bill really helped. I think you were better off leaving me on the noose."
