"My experience at the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Care was Great!!! The staff was so friendly and kind. I didn’t have to wait long and the technician was so caring and attentive to the experience and how uncomfortable it could feel at times. I really appreciate that. Overall it was an honor to be here with such Amazing people. I recommend Mammograms to all of my clients but this will be the location that I prefer."
"Been in office for 50 minutes. Sitting in holding area for 30, with 7 other women in cotton capes! Have heard all about another patients issues and names thanks to rather loud, unforgiving nurse. HEPA!?"
"If I could give zero stars I would. Posting so other patients will read and be spared from a humiliating and degrading experience. This location is at least triple booked and the staff are not trained to honor your privacy. Yelling personal information from the front desk in an overcrowded waiting area. The billing intake asked for digital signatures and provided no visible document so I could review what I was signing. Someone misplaced my folder and then told me that they had called me but I didn't respond. Complete lie. Total coverage of their failure to keep it together in such a busy environment. Once back in the overcrowded holding area I was asked to change into a half gown and then come out and sit half naked in another overcrowded waiting room. Keep in mind this testing isn't singular gender. Once I saw 10+ patients waiting half naked I inquired as to how long the wait was going to be since we were already 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. The staff person told me the problem was other people come early for their appointments and were moved ahead of me. What?! She went to check and told me it would be at least another 15 minutes before I could go back. So I refused to change into this pitiful excuse of a mammogram gown and wait with strangers half naked. The staff person understood but it was out of her control. This is clearly about money and not about caring for people's health. Find someplace else if your insurance provider allows it. This is not a place for compassion or care given the type of testing that is being done. Assembly line at its finest. Icing on the cake - got a my chart message after saying I was a no show. No administrator will return my call to discuss."
"After two mammograms, I had to come back for a biopsy. Through out the entire process, I could not have had better care. The kindness of each staff member was so soothing during what I considered a very stressful time. I wish all women had a Pearly Harris to take care of her breast needs. A++"
"This is my second visit that I felt rushed; gettem in gettem out is the mentality here. The difference over the years is diffinently gone down hill. My last visit........The care, love and patience I used to feel is definitely gone. I am older and felt discriminated against.......I do understand that older would probably not get care after certain age but for technicians need to do what physician's ask. A technician is given a doctor's order....mine was not honored."
