Since he had our packets, prior to the new patient appointment, he was already familiar with our medical issues. We have never had such a thorough review and it was refreshing to say the least! "We recently moved to the area and decided to take our children here to continue their care with Dr. Moirera. Since day one she has been absolutely incredible, listening to our fears with COVID, never making us feel crazy but instead making us feel heard. She is extremely good with all 3 of our kids, and shows incredible patience and understanding. I have never connected with a doctor so instantly and perfectly, and I highly recommend her. The staff are absolutely sweet and I always get a warm welcome when I walk in the door, engaging in conversation and making me feel comfortable. The nurses are very skilled as well, and when they had to take my son to do some tests, he was very at ease with them and didn't panic in the slightest. I look forward to many more years with her and will stay with her if she ever chooses to move."
"When we first started this practice it was a very good practice. Sweet and caring staff and loved my kids doctor and my doctor as well. But I don't know what changed the staff became very rude and uncaring most of the time our Doctor (Doctor Moriera) did not always know what was going on until she came into the room and talked to me about what was wrong even though I left a message with the nurses over the phone or on Mychart which I know she has access to. What really turned me for this practice is what happened when my oldest son was referred to a pediatric behavioral psychiatrist and has several bad experiences with her and then refused to refill a medication he HAD to have for school. Then Doctor Moreira or the staff refused to refill his medication after explaining what happened. And it all boiled down to us missing his med check up that I cancelled 24 hours in advance due to him having the flu. I then sent a message to Dr Moreira's staff saying that I did not like the psychiatrist and did not want him to see the psychiatrist, and if that is not enough for an appt so you can refill meds then my son's well being is not being taking into consideration and if this is the case I will have to look for a new doctor for him. Well after that not only did she decide not to see my oldest but she cancelled my appointments and my 2 year old's appointment without consulting me. It was very unprofessional to let your feelings get the best of your. I don't care if it hurt your feelings that I did not feel you had my son's best interest at hand. Because it's very obvious that you had none of our best interest at hand! I have been very sick for almost 3 years with no diagnosis yet!!! Not happy with what the practice has become."
"I love my doctor. Best doctor I've ever been too. And overall, the staff is very friendly as well. The only reason I can't rate five starts is Because of two instances. One, I later found out at the hospital that I had a kidney infection, but when I called to make the appointment, I was asked if I wanted to reschedule an appointment for a few weeks from then to make a new appointment. I needed the other appointment, and said I didn't want to make another appointment if it meant I had to cancel the other. So we ended the conversation. Next day, pain is unbearable, my mother makes me an appointment, I'm seen right away and directly admitted into the hospital. That was fun. The other is the fact that I can't make appointments online anymore. I liked the fact that I didn't have to actually talk to people to make an appointment. But now, every time I try to set one up online, I get told to call and explain my symptoms or whatever. I always detail everything that's wrong with me in my potential appointment emails, so I don't know why they changed that all of a sudden. But, besides the fact that I can't make appointment anymore, I really like this office and the staff. All the doctors I've seen here are very good and very professional."
