"If i could give minus stars I would. My first time going there , it was one of the worst and shortest exams I have ever had. From all the other exams I have had threw the years this was a joke. I'm going to have my exam redone I don't trust the exam they did. My advice go somewhere else where the eye Dr really cares about getting your prescription wright. The quality of care and taking time to make shure its good did not exist there."

"I feel like with the opening of their new offices, they've gotten a little smug. I've been going here since I was a teenager, only bought glasses from them one time because the prices are outrageous. They've always been nice, accomodating, everything you'd want. But I had an insurance issue with this office this year; my DENTAL insurance (which has been canceled since May) was conflicting with my regular insurance. I rescheduled with this office TWICE, both times they wait until the DAY BEFORE to tell me there is still an issue. I called my insurance both times, was on the phone with them for two and a half hours the second time and was assured that the issue had been solved. So I rescheduled my visit, way far out by the way since they waited until the last minute to call. AGAIN, they call the day before, same issue, the woman that gets on the phone with me is very rude; tells me that I can either call my insurance and get it fixed or cancel my appointment but it isn't their issue. I have never been treated like this by their staff. I tried to explain that I had talked to my insurance multiple times, she didn't care, told me to reschedule. So instead, I just scheduled somewhere else and had MUCH BETTER SERVICE."

"This is the most amazing optometrist I've ever been to. I was a new patient so I assumed it would take months to be seen but it only took a few weeks. It didn't take long to be seen and the office you're waiting in is so bright and pleasant. The staff is AMAZING. All of them are so welcoming, nice, and knowledgeable. They all know what they're doing and that's so refreshing to see. The woman that did the dilation eye drops and the initial tests was so nice and put in the eye drops with ease. Nothing hurt, nothing was uncomfortable... they truly know what they're doing. I saw Dr. Penka and she is so sweet, professional, and knows what she's doing. I cannot express how refreshing that is. I've seen many eye doctors and this is the one I hope to keep forever. They also help you with however you want to get glasses. If it's online, they know how to help you with what numbers to put in to order them. If you want to just keep your frames, they can just put new lenses in those. If you want new glasses, they have an amazing selection."

"The entire staff at carolina vision associates are extremely pleasant and made the process of getting an exam nice and quick. The doctors performing exams are efficient and very nice as well. I got my new glasses today and I am very impressed. I highly recommend this location."
