"Unacceptable service provided by this Podiatrist. My complaint was foot pain. This guy cuts my toenails and that's it. He sent a specimen of a toenail clipping to a lab to confirm fungus. Mind you I've known for years that I had toenail fungus. I get a $260 bill and I'm in total disbelief that I was NOT informed of the cost prior. I called to speak with someone in charge and was put on hold. Next, "that bill is between you, your insurance and the lab". OK so this is not taking ownership of what really happened. It is any doctors responsibility to inform the patient of what their findings are, any tests/costs and treatment plan. ABSOLUTELY nothing was discussed. $60 copay, God knows the amount they charged my insurance and then a $260 bill from a lab to confirm what I already knew. As old as this guy is and the years of experience he knew as well what toenail fungus is. I never ever once was told that I'd be responsible for this test. ROBBERY, TRICKERY AND DECEIT! This is NOT over."
"Went to Dr. Rainer for a infected toenail. It was ingrown. Dr. Rainer explained the correction needed and proceeded to fix the problem. Let me just say he was professional, explained in detail what to expect, very caring as to me not having any pain and he was a pain free doctor. Even the injections were applied without me feeling anything. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes. This is now the day after and I have no pain and am walking naturally. Thank you Dr. Rainer and his assistant. She was very responsive to me. I would recommend this office to anyone with a foot problem."
