"Scam company they threaten to call you're employer but won't tell you or prove what debt you owe. By law if you tell them to contact you only by mail they have to stop calling so I would recommend anyone getting calls from this scam company to do that. Their credit isn't even on my credit so I don't know who these thieves are."
"What a scam! No idea how these people got my number but all they do is randomly text and have an automated system call about a mystery account I have received no information on via phone, email, or text. I opted out of the text and still get them. They have multiple numbers, all of which do not work answer, when you scan through the many 1 star reviews and use an extension posted on the replies you get voicemail as well. I wouldn’t advise anyone to give them your personal info, read these reviews and be careful. Leave as many complaints as you can and get these crooks out of business."
"They added a "debt" to my credit report without ever sending me a bill or a phone call. I caked them, and was informed it was a well now visit from a year ago. One that my insurance covered. I never got a bill or a phone call from well now either, and when I tried to call them I got the old "your call is important to us, but not important enough to answer"."
"Sent a collection to my credit bureau 6 months after it was pulled back from collections which I have proof of via email. It should have never went to collections to begin with which I also have proof of as it was a bill that should have been submitted to insurance and never was. Spoke to both the original place where the bill came from as well as NYS Medicaid and both have said that this was taken care of. I’ve called Metcredit multiple times to discuss why this was done (as it was taken care of in June of 2022, which I have proof of) and the first thing the auto system says is “no one is available” and makes you either leave a message (which I’ve done) or press the prompt to remain on hold. Once you push the prompt to wait on hold, it goes right to a voicemail. Of course they will say they sent letters etc but my address was incorrect and I have a copy of the paperwork I signed the night the bill was generated showing a correction but was never submitted. I also have phone records to show I’ve never received a call from this place to try and collect this debt. They basically hold on to it long enough to submit it to the credit bureau which they did 7 months ago, also how I found out that insurance was never sent a bill for the service they just sent me one instead thinking I would take care of it and not bat an eye…I took care of by having the bill sent to the proper place 7 MONTHS AGO!! Here we are 7 months later and they just decided to hit my credit anyways, AGAIN! Maybe by leaving a 1 star review (I WISH I could leave 0) they would actually contact me to get this reversed off my credit. If I don’t hear anything by Monday, I’ll be reporting this company to the Attorney General and the FTC for unfair practices. This account should have been reversed in June of 2021 so they shouldn’t even have an open collections account for me."
"This place is one of the most unprofessional collection services I have ever experienced. Not only do that make it nearly impossible to resolve your account they fail to simply return your call in order to speak to a representative in regards to your account. However if you do receive a call back youll be treated absolutely horribly, yelled at, and hung up on. I currently have a case opened against this company in regards to this, how is anyone supposed to resolve a debt issue when the service team and representatives will treat you rudely and refuse to speak to you for simply requesting information on your own account?! Absolutely disgusted that this place is considered a professional collections agency."
