"I cannot say enough about our experience with Dr. Wylan and his entire team. At 49 years old, I have failed to know what it’s like to get the type of care commercials and Hollywood presents. With multiple healthcare providers my experience was fragmented, lacked empathy and didn’t care if we understood what was being communicated to us or if we knew what to expect and when. My son attends North Greenville University as a freshman on the Lacrosse team. Sadly he tore his ACL for the second time and is out for the season. We were scared and since I live in Orlando, I had no idea how to get my son through this again. The surgeon who worked on him two years ago in Orlando treated us like just another sardine so we felt very vulnerable. Dr. Wylan’s team was heaven sent from the first call to gather our information and schedule a time to review his findings from the MRI that was done and his recommendations. Pamela, Samantha and Alexandra reinforced my confidence that there truly are healthcare professionals who lead with their hearts and treated us like their own family. They were very friendly, informative, patience with our questions /land made sure we knew where we were in the process and what to expect next. From our first consultation, Dr. Wylan convinced me he was treating my son as if he were his own. He spoke in simple terms explaining what his highly trained eyes saw in the MRI, what was not so bad but still needed to be addressed and what was the main cause of concern and all aspects, he best path to do his best to repair my son’s ACL, meniscus and cartilage. Pre surgery Dr. Wylans team kept us posted and well informed proving they are a highly coordinated team and their fluid communication reflect this. Dr. Wylan himself took me into a room by ourselves and gently explained what his plan is, who he learned it from and why this gives us the latest and greatest chance to get my son healthy again. Right after the surgery Dr. Wylan took his time explaining to me how things went and again, what to expect from there along with his recommendations. My heart is full knowing this man put himself in my shoes and for the first time in my life, I can thank God for allowing my son to be in Dr. Wylan’s hands. I have no idea if Parker will play lacrosse again but I’m 100% he was treated and operated on by the absolute best team and surgeon possible! The very next day Parker was in great hands with the Physical Therapy team Dr. Wylan trusts and the confidence continues to build. They know him, what he wants and expects and could not be more coordinated with Dr. Wylan!"
