"In January 2015, I went to the doctor because I couldn’t shake a cold; it seemed like I just kept getting sick all winter long. I was weighed when I got there and was shocked to learn I was 250 pounds. As a photographer moving around a lot, I was always out of breathe and had a hard time fitting into small spaces. It was embarrassing, and I always felt horrible. After the doctor weighed me and I realized how much weight I had gained, I knew I had to do something.
