"Mr.Hill is very unprofessional he spoke with me on one occasion about the little girls and how nappy their hair looks and how the mothers should be ashamed of how they send the kids to school. But the kids are there to learn not who had the best hairstyle and who dress the best.He speaks on how the kids are disrespectful but how can you blame the kids when some of the staff there use profanity in front of the kids.I would never refer anyone there as long as Mr.Hill there because he has his share of picks of people he like and do not like.He had me to pick up my son because he didn't have a belt on when I got to the school to pick my son up there were other boys who also didn't have on a belt and pants hanging out there behind. He always told another student how he was not going to pick my son up anymore nor bring him home.Instead of him being professional and calling and letting me know his mother. He rather sit around and talk to little kids about situations that don't need to be discussed between the other students. I must say that I truly love the other staff members but it just something about that Mr.Hill."
"Amazing , treat kids as if they were there’s , making sure they graduated, dealing with hand on hand situations with kids. That’s what it’s all about making sure the kids learn and get the job. Everything else is nonsense."
"This business is very unprofessional. All of the other reviews are spot on. If you ask to be paid (even days after your actual payday), she'll find some reason to be angry and threaten termination as if the job was a real job. The CAN Academy side of Change Agents Network, has had no certified teachers for several years, although it is supposed to be a school that specializes in Special Education. As with other reviews, I would do my research prior to paying any fees to this school or signing a contract to be an employee. As a certified Georgia Educator with nothing but the best interest at heart for future students, I would suggest asking more than enough questions and requesting certification ID numbers on all teachers if you are enrolling your child. Please make sure that your child has a teacher with a GEORGIA ISSUED CERTIFICATION TO TEACH STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. This is public information that can be accessed online. Paraprofessionals are not teachers, but teacher’s aides. Please do your research and know the difference. If you are an employee, please document all pay dates and actual dates paychecks are received and cashed by the bank. Use a folder and stay up to date. You will never receive money for late fees incurred because of not being paid on time. Do not make oral agreements with the owner and get a copy of everything that you sign."
