"I had already had horrific experiences at two different urgent care facilities, so my expectations weren't that high. I had no idea you could get in and out of a doctor's office in under an hour........ or two......... until I went to After Hours Family Practice. Upon arrival, a very personable lady gave me a form to fill out, explaining that since I was a new patient, the charge would be $70, but thereafter, it would only be $60. I almost can't wait to get sick again! ;o) Before I could even sit down, they called me back, telling me I could complete the paperwork while I was "waiting" for Ginny.........yeah, right! She was in the room in 3 minutes. Very personable, easy to talk to. When she told me she would give me a shot (for my gout), I braced myself....... not for the shot, but for the bill. A few months prior, I had received a steroid shot for an arthritic shoulder, by a sports doctor in Spartanburg, who charged me $212.......... for the shot....... the office visit was another $117. Ginny said it would be $25 for the shot. Incredible! A true professional, she didn't try to rush me (as is so typical), answered all my questions and wrote me a script. I paid the bill and was back in my car in under 20 minutes! The entire staff was warm and friendly ............ comfortable (like a good pair of shoes), ........... just great, "salt of the earth" people. After Hours Family Practice truly is the "gold standard" by which all doctor's offices should be measured. It's great to know that should I require quality medical care in the future, all I have to do is go see the fine folks at After Hours Family Practice."
