"IF I COULD GIVE THIS SCHOOL A ZERO RATING, I WOULD!! My daughter calls me almost everyday, complaining about FIGHTS! My daughter called me today, at 1:30 PM saying they had been on lockdown because of fights, and someone had a knife. Why was I not notified?!? I don’t send my child to school to be exposed to danger, and then the school doesn’t even have the decency to contact PARENTS of these CHILDREN! We need to protect our kids and keep them away from places like this. School is a place where students should feel safe in, and parents should feel comfortable sending their kids! I have withdrawn my child from this school and would NEVER recommend this school to any other parent!"
"I cannot speak to how good the school is. That being said, their baseball field was a nice venue to play at. My son's travel ball team played there and it was one of the better high school fields in the area. The entrance was brick with a wrought iron gate and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The stands provided adequate seating for a good sized crowd, but it lacked any kind of shade for the afternoon heat. The outdoor batting cages well maintained and were covered in case it started raining. The field itself was well maintained with a grass infield and good backstop. Will definitely look forward to my son playing here again if he plays ARC in high school. Also, if you are looking for great quality uniforms, I would check out Painted Moose Graphics. Some of the teams that were in this tournament were rocking uniforms from Painted Moose Graphics and looked quite snazzy. One team even said they got two sets of uniforms in four days. Wow!"
"My first time visiting ARC. My daughter is taking her admittion exam and I am praying she is welcomed with open arms. Being new to Augusta (5yrs), I have always heard wonderful things about ARC and was happy when my daughter came home from school wanting to attend. But I must admit, the building needs a make-over. Maybe the city will be kind and do this for ARC. ❤️"
"I went to this school my freshman and sophomore year and it was amazing. I had great friends before I had to move. The only thing was, this schools has horrible janitors! There are rats and cockroaches the size of your foot. The school could probably cave in one day. Only the IB kids and fine arts are in the good building. But if you want to get a good education and watch two fights happen in your face, then come to ARC. The sports are different each year, they win then they lose. We get bomb threats too. Good luck!"
