"Saying Chip is a "guitar teacher" doesn't really do any justice to the value he brings to each lesson. He's been doing this for a long time. I took my first lesson from him over twenty years ago, when I had never seriously touched a guitar before. I found out about him through my uncle who took lessons from him some ten or fifteen years before I did. Those first six months of learning how to play affected how I approached every other skill I learned in life, and I wouldn't have been able to get through it without Chip's guidance. On top of that, he also brings an engineer's level of technical understanding when it comes to guitar equipment and recording audio, so if you're ever vying for some specific sonic qualities, don't hesitate to tell him what you're after. TL;DR, his expertise is certainly worth far, far more than he charges. No matter where you're at in terms of learning guitar, you should find a way to fit lessons from Chip McDonald into your budget, IMO. I promise you won't regret it."
