"They have taught my daughters and they enjoyed it"
"I've used Ables for 10 years now and for 3 of my 4 kids. The price includes 8 hours of classroom instruction, which my teens said helped them to pass the DMV test. They read the manual, but said the class instruction made the information "stick". You get three 2-hour driving sessions with their friendly, experienced instructors. In the first session, Ables will teach your teen the basics (parallel parking, k-turns, and such.) After 50-60 hours of driving practice (it's up to you to practice with your teen what they've learned from Ables), you can schedule the second session. This will be another 2-hour session that will involve more complex instruction (highway, multi-lane traffic). You can drive more hours before scheduling your teen for the second session until you feel they're ready. Finally, after a minimum of 90 hours of practice (with a minimum of 10 nighttime sessions), you can schedule the third 2-hour session. This one coincides with doing the actual driver's test. So you MUST wait until the teen has had their Learner's Permit for at least 180 days before they are allowed to take the actual driver's test. Then, you will have two choices: Drive 2 hours with Ables (they will review everything your teen learned and will be tested on), and then go to the DMV and take the test. Or, you can pay an extra $35-$45 (I can't remember the exact cost) and Ables will give your teen the test. I highly recommend this because my kids were less nervous since they already knew the instructor. Once your teen is issued their permit (you still need to go to the DMV to process it), Ables will provide a certificate for your insurance company that will help to reduce the the rates of their vehicle insurance. My teens (and I) were glad that they had Ables Driving School to help them through this process! It was worth every penny!"
"They were friendly and affordable."
