"No problems. The health care providers I was assigned were/are excellent. Wait times reasonable. Questions answered appropriately. Only major complaint that is a neg one star is parking at the Ralph Johnson Hospital location. That parking needs to be redesigned. Too tight. Folks with long bed pickup trucks obstructing the lanes… scary. Otherwise much improved from years past."

"I want to start off by saying, I really appreciate the VA and everything they've done for me since I got out... Also, it's really a Beautiful hospital, but the care I'm personally receiving is terrible. I can't get call backs on lab reports, I can't ever reach my provider and the information I do get is terrible. I went into the VA with migraines, brain fog and cold extremeties, no diagnosis and no test and in 85 degree weather I get told to "Wear Socks and Gloves"". I'm 40 years old, it was so patronizing. New Doctor now, and I'm having the same issues two years later, my vision is having weird blurriness, light sensitivity, and extreme dryness, etc. I went to opthalmologist but didn't get answers there really, but that's as far as it went. There's a few more things going on that I'm trying to get answers on, but I feel like I'm the issue because I'm the only one following through. I love you guys, thank you for the things you do,I just wish I had better providers."

"The people are kind unless they messed up. I had an appointment scheduled and the doctor did not show up. When I realized that I had drove 20 miles for absolutely no reason I was upset and when I expressed this to the staff, they did not care or try to help in the least. The front desk clerk advised that someone should have alerted me about the doctor cancelling the appointment but when she realized they did not contact me she still showed no empathy or concern. There is no accountability within the VA. No one has to answer for any wrong doings and that's what sucks about this place. NO one cares and they have no one to answer to."

"This is a great place for the Veterans to get the care they need. The Staff are friendly and very helpful to the Veterans and their families. They assist you with all of your medical needs and also provides transportation for you with the VA van. They will take you to the Veterans hospital downtown and bring you back to the Clinic on Rivers Ave. You can't go wrong with that great service. My husband and I both have been using these services and we are very grateful that these people are helping us with our medical concerns and needs. Great Staff and Professionals during great work for the Veterans."

"Arrived before my appointment time and was seen before my appointment time. It pays to arrive early, you’d think other Veterans would know this. Nice new facility with massive parking lot, way better than last N.Charleston location. Waiting areas are divided up according to your appointment (it’s located on the ticket you get at check in) The water fountains are also nice as they have a water bottle fill spot."
