"Broke tibia,fibula and ankle falling 20 feet onto a pile of bricks. Got there around 6pm Diagnosed 2 hours later then just sat around, told surgeon would get me in next day. Surgeon couldn't even meet me till the following week. 15 days later I have my surgery, I am not happy about any of this, in more pain now then when everything was broken. I've called 3 times with no response. I've reached out yo another musc surgeon who said they won't give me a second opinion until the 28th of February open beds night I came in. Could have stayed over night and did the next day. Can't charge that insurance for all those trips if u only do 1 trip. 3 appointments and a surgery, that's making more off that insurance"

"Spent time at the psych unit for trauma over an assault and the nurses did nothing but sexualize my body every chance they got. They tried to force gowns on me for having a larger chest than other patients yet I was not dressed out of code. I was wearing identical to another patient not as well endowed. They also refused to release me unless I confessed to my ABUSER that I remembered everything that was done to me as a child. TO BE RELEASED TO AFOREMENTIONED ABUSER. What sense does that make? That is dangerous and I was put in blatant and deliberate danger. Docs working on my arm made my husband hold my arm down to be stapled ....he's not medical staff.. but other staff couldn't be bothered from what I was told by my husband. Thanks for that, including the belligerent incompetence and lack of looking out for patients. If you have a psychiatric need.....do not go here. 0 stars if that was possible. Do better for people. You misdiagnosed my dying parents over and over as well. They're dead now. I can't help think if you guys were more competent they would have had atleast a little more time on this earth. I repeat. Do better for people. Maybe start by hiring people who do what they do because they want to make a difference, not cold, detached people who do what they do for a paycheck."

"My wife BP was elevated and she wasn’t feeling her best and she had to wait in the emergency room for almost 10 before being seen by a doctor. The sad part is we left before being seen. There’s no telling how long we would have been there waiting had we not left. I’m not sure if they are understaffed but when it comes to timeliness of service this Emergency Department is horrible."

"Myself and my boyfriend are in the emergency room right now since 6:00 pm est yesterday evening. He has congestive heart failure and is showing signs of chest pressure. We have still NOT BEEN SEEN by a doctor and his pressure has risen in the time that we have been here. I thought MUSC’s purchase of Orangeburgh Regional was supposed to be an improvement . This cannot be what was intended."

"Horrific! Took my wife to the ER Friday before Christmas. The time was 5:00pm. She was having difficulty breathing and had tightness in her chest. They instructed her to sit in the lobby. After an hour they ran an EKG on her. Results were inconclusive. We were told to go back to the lobby. At 10:00pm I left to return home. We had animals to monitor. I returned to the hospital the next morning expecting her to be admitted. WRONG. She was still seated in the lobby. They gave her a COVID test at 8:00am. No results. I counted 4 other individuals from the night before.We left at 11:00am. 18 HOURS IN THE LOBBY! State authorities take notice!!!"
