"Had a wonderful experience with Arvent and Hannah. Both were very patient with me and assisted me with exactly what I wanted from long distance. Will keep purchasing from this store!"
"I paid very good money for my John Hardy bracelet. It no longer snaps shut. I contacted them and the only way they will repair it is if it was purchased within a year. Local jewelers cannot repair this. I am forced to toss it. They should stand behind their products. I was willing to pay for the repair."
"Last week, I had one of the most positive shopping experiences I ever had at John Hardy/SoHo. Arvin was very kind, articulate and informative about the various items available. Not only am I delighted with my purchase but also with the stress-free and easy atmosphere he provided. It was a delightful experience. Shelley D."
"Went in here with my boyfriend for his birthday, and kindly asked to be fitted for a ring, as the snake rings were really cool. The woman working at the store asked, very condescendingly, "and you want a John hardy ring?" to which my bf replied, "I'd like to get fitted and see, but it's likely!" To which she literally and audibly scoffed, rolled her eyes, and stormed away. We left immediately. It was so rude, left us quite thrown, and if I was going to buy a John Hardy ring before, I am absolutely not going to now. And not that it should matter, but yes, we were dressed very nice, are well mannered, and were extremely pleasant to this woman. I'm only posting because this is still on my mind two weeks later."
"What a great experience I had at this store! My wife has been a John Hardy fan for probably 20 years. And I've purchased I don't know how many pieces. But this was my first time at a branded store. It's the most unique jewelry store I've ever been in - starting with Jacqueline. I went in looking for a particular piece. Jaqueline didn't have it in the store. So she went through catalogs to find it. She came back with the news it was discontinued, but there was a very similar updated version she could get. The store decor is perfect for Hardy style. It's a little "rough" with the wall textures, cabinetry, etc - a perfect contrast to the pieces themselves. There are shadow boxes on the wall here and there that show entire ensembles. I've never seen that before . . . gives you an idea how to combine pieces and how they will look. As I was leaving, there were two boxes by the front door I hadn't seen. They had craftsman tools - hammer, pliers, and other items. I asked - these pieces are actually hammered out by hand? Jacqueline said they were. Then she proceeded to demonstrate how the famous braided bracelet was made. I had no idea. She also told me the second floor is a workshop and that they gave demonstrations on the whole process. So - beautiful, uniquely designed and made jewelry show with proof of the unique craftsmanship. Oh - champagne and whatever if you care to indulge. It's worth stopping in for a look whether you're a Hardy fan or not!"
