"This place is beyond ridiculous!! I came here at 6 pm, sent by my doctor for more testing and by midnight, still haven’t been seen by a doctor. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one there that had a ridiculous wait time. I heard other patients complaining that had been there since that morning and still haven’t been seen. Wish I would’ve read the google reviews prior to my visit. Last time I was there, it was called University. The total ER process is a joke from the time you enter the building. Not sure if it’s because of the new name that this type of new service is what this hospital is now about. Just awful! Hospital is dirty. The whole 6 hrs I was in waiting room, not once did I see a janitor come and clean the bathrooms or clean anything for that matter. Just picked up the trash. I expressed my concerns to the front desk staff which is a joke as well and they have no empathy or compassion whatsoever. I have reached out to the automated email they will send after this review and it’s going on 2 weeks and I still haven’t had anyone to respond. Please don’t waste your time and money at this hospital. They don’t even deserve one star! They simply don’t care."
"I wish it was something less than one star the hospital is evil and I don’t feel our love one safe my MIL was brought in we got a call that night everything was fine my hubby call back to day after finding out he was the only person they can talk to the charge nurse refused to talk to him due to her other sons and sister called. I hate them my mama has not been the same since people walk in but get rolled out we need a better hospital or better overseeing"
"My grandfather was brought to the ER by ambulance at 11: 13 am. They gave him an oxygen container. It ran out. They gave him another and it is about to run out. It is now 6:35 pm. The lady at they registration desk told me that some people wait longer than that. The people are who are waiting to see a doctor are family and should be treated with dignity and not just a number. We are here because our family matter. It should not take 6 hours to see a physician. It is crazy that I have seen shift change and my grandfather has not been seen."
"What’s with the online service? Ever since Piedmont took over University Hospital, the My Chart is useless. I can’t send my doctor a message. I can’t see scheduled upcoming appointments. Every time I call I’m told the website doesn’t work but nobody can say when it will. It been many months. Surely a business this size would have a competent IT department? I also paid a bill before its due date but I keep getting calls, bills in the main, and notifications in my email. I’ve talked to two people who say that yes I have paid my bill but they can’t do anything about taking the notifications off. Very frustrating. Get it together Piedmont. It’s scary that you can’t handle the business side of things so how could I trust you to do the right thing if I’m hospitalized?"
"DR sent my mom via EMS for possible heart attack. We’ve been in waiting room for four hours and still haven’t seen a doctor. We received same delay of treatment in October. ER is incredibly slow. I would NOT recommend."
