Reviews of The Early Learning Academy
"Early Learning Academy was the most perfect place for our little one to grow, learn, and play. We made the move to ELA after a disastrous experience with another local ‘academy,’ and couldn’t have found a better fit for our daughter. After the short, but painful stint in the other program, we had a couple of concerns about our daughter’s behavior that we thought, if founded, would be well-served by the ELA staff. Turns out when she’s loved, nurtured, and appreciated, she thrives! After being in a place where our daughter was made to feel less than and was treated as problematic; we knew we needed to find a place where there was open and honest communication and a whole team of people we could trust. We found that and more in ELA. As the parent of a ‘neuro-typical’ kid, I want to add my voice to other parents who have bragged about this program. ELA is an asset to our community – without question, kids of all backgrounds can and will benefit from their inclusive education model. The teachers and the program director are incredibly kind, gracious, helpful, and committed to the children and families they serve every day. Ciarra (director) is an outstanding leader and ELA is lucky to have her. We adored our teachers and after care providers – everyone we encountered there made an impact on us. We recently made the transition from daycare to PreK at our neighborhood school and our whole family was sad to move on. I recommend ELA to any/everyone. I can not say enough good things about them!"
"My son went to this school for years and he loved it. We had a hard time finding a daycare because he was autistic but The staff here made us at ease. On his first date I received pictures. Mrs.Ciara has always made us felt welcome and open to talk to her about my concerns. The teachers were beyond amazing. If I was not able to attend the activities they had at the school I would always receive picture emails of my son. He loved his teachers! They are great about communicating with me about my child. If he wasn't going to kindergarten this year he would have went back! By far one of the BEST schools I could've sent my kid too."
"My son loves going to school here and we have seen the biggest improvement with his language and interaction with peers. I believe they focus on play based learning, which I love because I do believe children can naturally absorb so much more information in creative play and being hands on. The entire staff is very nice and personable, you can see how much they care and put in the effort to help our children be their best selves."
"My son loves it here and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My son started here a few months ago. I think what really stood out was our first day experience. The director went out of her way to make us both feel at ease about it. It was my sons first time being away from me and his dad and he’s never been alone with anyone other than his grandparents so I was very nervous about his first day and I was ready to drop everything to pick him up the second i knew he was unhappy. Ciarra (the director) was updating me via email and she surprised me with a video of him playing and laughing with his teacher. I was so grateful for that, seeing him smile and laugh really put me at ease. I think I cried on his first day more than I should have and he didn’t even shed a tear! My son had such a great time there and that evening all he talked about was how much fun he had with his teachers and friends. He was begging me to go back! His good experience and my experience with Ciarra made me feel confident about my decision. Im also impressed by how much he is learning through play based learning. He knows what an illustrator does, he knows what things he can and can’t recycle and so much more that I wouldn’t think to teach him at such a young age. I’m very happy that I chose Early Learning Academy. It’s been a great experience for all of us. Every day he’s happy and excited about going to school and I don’t feel worried dropping him off because I know he’s happy and in good hands."
"We absolutely LOVE The Early Learning Academy!! I cannot praise this school enough. Our 2 year old wakes up everyday excited to grab his backpack and head out the door. He has been excelling quickly in all aspects and learns more at school than we could ever teach him ourselves. I never thought we would send our son anywhere until he became kindergarten-age, but the last 3 months have been so beneficial to his growth. Thank you for taking such great care of our child! We are so lucky we found this place!"
