"Bill has been a great help to us getting several large projects completed at our house. It is much easier to place to get things done than a big box lumber store. They have everything you need all in one place. For those that have posted negative feedback, I would remind folks this is a lumberyard that caters primarily to builders. You should know what you want, not make a million changes to your order and understand we are in a lumber crisis right now, prices change daily! We have had a great experience here and will continue to purchase our supplies from them. You will save time."

If I had someone like him, that unfriendly and lack of willingness to helpmy phone, we couldn't pay the phone bill because no one would be calling.I'm a small business owner and the conversation stayed out decent but quickly turned bad as I asked for help with texting out to a vendor. He simply stated that"we are a lumber yard, no hardwood here, go to Greer, we build houses" anyway, maybe all the employs are not that bad."

"Quoted 37.76 for the same 2x10x16 that Lowes sells for 25.48. Either price is outrageous, but Builder's First is just thievery. In the store, they treat their regular builders well.. but everyone else - pretty poorly. If your builder is buying from them, then your builder doesn't care about your costs."

"Good place to go for all your wood construction projects everything from small storage buildings to an entire house, additions, and remodels. Probably not the best place if your just looking to replace a broken piece of trim but you still could. The store has improved it's customer service with the addition of personal on the front desk and in the yard."
