"Dr. Lily-Bare was very thorough as she examined my aging pup. She was also able to answer all my questions, and calm my concerns. She called herself the next day to discuss test results. I highly recommend this practice."
"I used Pet Friends throughout my dog's life cycle and never had a problem until we used them to euthanize our dog due to bladder cancer. The process was very humane and orderly, but I'm writing to express my disappointment with the time frame of my pet being picked from Pet Friends and sent to Faithful Companions. My family dog was euthanized on 7 November. My family was told we were to receive his remains within 48 hours. No one contacted us with an update regarding this matter so my wife was forced to call Pet Friends on 14 November and inquire about his ashes. She was told by your establishment that someone would contact Faithful Companions and find out why there's such a delay. To make a long story short, we just received his ashes on 15 November from Faithful Companions. They stated that your establishment did not contact them regarding my dog's ashes and they didn't receive my pet until 14 November (Only after you guys called). Exactly one week after he was euthanized!! God knows where his body was for a whole week. This is a very hard time for myself and my family. Harley was loved so much and to receive this type of unacceptable service during our time of grief just shows your establishment's lack of empathy. My family is completely disheartened by this type of treatment from Pet Friends. I'm just grateful for some sort of closure from Faithful Companions."
"They are friendly and helpful. My MS loves and is always happy to see the vet. I used to get his nails cut at Petsmart. Now he goes to my vet. Staff is always nice they fit him in really quick and cheaper. And better sanitized environment than Petsmart."
"This has been an amazing vet experience so far. I have a very reactive dog and the office staff did everything they could to mitigate any possible issues. When I needed to call in a new prescription for his anxiety, they filled it very quickly, the same day. When I had to bring both my reactive dog, and cat in for a visit, they were able to give me a dual appoint for them and made the hassle of fumbling with the dog, and lugging a large cat carrier around so much easier on me with their assistance as well as simultaneously accommodating my reactive dog’s needs. They are very fairly priced, and extremely compassionate in their care. If anyone has a reactive dog, then they know how stressful veterinary appointment can be on both the dog and the owner. I moved down to SC and had to leave our old vet behind who was also amazing, but took a lot of hard work in finding the right place for my dog to receive care. I was very apprehensive about finding a new veterinarian that would suit him. I have been beyond impressed with all of the staff at Pet Friends. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone in search of great veterinary office."
"Someone Please tell me, who govern Veterinary's? I'm very disappointed and upset with Wendy Lilly-Bare at Pet Friends. My German Shepherd was very sick and this vet. charged almost $200 which was supposed to include a follow up checkup; which never happened. Wendy (the owner), was leaving for the holidays, and refused to see me on the given follow up appointment day! They, then called and gave me another appt. With their other in house doctor, which later a staff member called me back again a day before, stating THAT Dr. Refuses to see Wendy's patient (my G. Shep.). After The third call, I advised them, and pleaded that my dog needs a follow up immediately... Both Doctors still didn't care, NOT ONE OF THEIR DOCTORS HAS CALLED OR CHECKED ON MY FUR BABY! However, I'm holding a letter received today, Dec. 31, 2022 from them NOT asking how their patient is doing, but stating I should take my fur baby else where, But they didn't say anything about returning my money, for not fulfilling a complete service! I absolutely do not recommend Pet Friends Veterinary, because in my experience they do not care about fur babies, showed terrible customer service, and because THEIR office staff made 3 followup appt. errors; when I complained , Pet Friends (Wendi Lilly-Bare) chose to abruptly drop my fur baby VIA an unexpected letter! Sable January 8, 2023 Reply to Pet Friends Response: The reply is absolutely NOT TRUE, I don't want to believe the like of concern is due to my race, so I'll stick to the facts and I have the phone records to collaborate my complaint. Your staff NEVER called me back for the appointment as they had advised they would AFTER speaking to you. I had to initiate EVERY call. I guess YOU Doctor don't consider the fact that my fur baby wasn't immediate emergency; however, her skin caused her pain to move, sit, and stand. A simple follow up, with additional medicine isn't hard for your Secondary in house Doctor to follow your notes. It's about the money, follow up was free. Your doctor wanted new payment. You are the owner, should have compensated her if needed, since YOU were the one who had to leave the office, and it was your staff who made the follow-up appointment with the other doctor, now i see that appt. was JUST a place holder to pacify me until you could write a termination of service letter! I have 3 other fur babies, and spend a lot of money on their health. Money isn't the issue, but YOUR OFFICE'S LIKE OF: accountability, disrespect, unorganized, AND unprofessional attitude, when a customer advises you of an issue/complaint with your office. AGAIN, YOU, THE OWNER never ONCE reached out via telephone to call and simply check up on your patient, or to see what my complaint was about; but you instead decided to send a termination of care letter. YOU nor you OFFICE staff completed the service I was told we'd receive. I filed a dispute, because I did not get the service your office said they'd provide. I will share my experience with as many people possible, so they can be sure to take their fur babies to a doctor who genuinely cares about animals, as I feel You nor your staff care."
