"As a new mom, I had no idea how vital it would be to have a good lactation consultant in your corner even before baby is born. Kristyn has been phenomenal in helping me with every step of the way as far as breastfeeding and pumping. I thought I was prepared but there’s so much more to breastfeeding than I ever realized and I don’t think I would have even made it this long without Kristyn. She has been helping us through tongue and lip ties and has helped made our journey successful so far. If you are pregnant I highly recommend seeing Kristyn for all your breastfeeding needs!"
"I would have stopped breastfeeding after first couple days. Im so happy I found Kristyn she gave me the confidence to continue this journey. She is so sweet and is very supportive. Thank you!"
"We would not be breastfeeding right now without Kristyn. She has been wonderful! We've seen lactation consultants at the hospital and at our pediatricians office and not all LCs are equal in their abilities. If you are struggling and have not received the help you need, don't give up! Kristyn has been so positive through our journey. Every time I was ready to get up we'd have an appointment with Kristyn and she would bring back hope for me. She's so knowledgeable about tongue ties. Just because other LCs say your baby doesn't have one isn't necessarily true. All symptoms have to be considered, not just how it "looks". Kristyn was able to identify our baby's tongue tie and help us get an appointment to have it released. Then she followed up with us after to make sure exercises were going well and to help us get to being able to breastfeed. It took us 5 weeks to be able to breastfeed, don't give up hope! I was ready to throw in the towel after that long and then Kristyn got us breastfeeding after that appointment. Also, check and see if your insurance covers visits! A lot of them do. Anyone who wants to be able to breastfeed should be able to, and to have the support to do it. Kristyn is an amazing support person to have on your team! We would not be breastfeeding right now without her!"
"I am so thankful to have found Columbia Lactation Care! Kristyn immediately made me feel comfortable and put me at ease from the moment she walked in the door. She is confident in her knowledge but completely approachable and understanding. I was told by my pediatrician that I could not nurse and would have to pump and bottle feed. After three visits with Kristyn, I am now exclusively nursing and baby is doing great! The fact that she offers home visits is a huge plus to new moms, and was well worth the very fair $50 fee. You won’t regret going with CLC!"
"Kristyn helped me through breastfeeding both of my children. She is incredibly knowledgeable and the way she made herself available to me was INVALUABLE. She made numerous home visits, and answered too many calls and texts to count. I appreciate everything she did for me through my journey!"
